OMG!  That's like the phone companies that keep ringing us!  It is the same guy, selling us different companies!  And he hangs up as soon as he hears my voice, and yet, it is Les who's constantly giving him an ear blasting! lol.

It does make you wonder how they manage to keep a job.  Maybe point this out next time you talk to your mortgaage broker too.

Next time see if you can make the convo go like this...

"Is Bobby there?"

"You'll have to call him on his mobile, do you have his number?"

That way there is no yes or no answer, she will be forced to either call his number or ask you for it. Then you can engage her in conversation and tell her that if she hadn't been so fast to get off the phone all the time she'd have been able to speak to him a long time ago, but she kept interupting and hanging up before you got a chance to say anything - and staying polite will make her feel really silly. LOL

some ppl have no social skills obviously!!! I'd cut her off, say excuse me in my best polite( the I have social skills voice) and explain to ring after 6. Makes then feel guilty and stupid then hahaha

Just say yes that he is there, next time. Then when she asks you to put him on, just say oops he stepped out, call him on this number. Worth a shot

OMG that would annoy me way too much! I would say if you ring again before 6 then you have to talk to me! LOL!

I don't really tolerate those people either.

Haha i get that every day! so i'm glad i'm  not the only one.

oh jo boy do i hate people like that or they ring up and you say your the wife and the for the purpose of the privacey we cant talk to you . i normally say but i am his wife for god sack . they still dont listen and hang up
