I watched the movie atonement today. It has just come out on DVD.
I have to tell you, this is one of the sweetest, saddest and most interesting (and sometimes confusing) movies i have seen in ages.
It is about a young woman and a young man who confess thier love for each other, and have a single moment in the girls home library. They are caught by her little sister. That night he is accused of raping the cousin (accused by the younger sister). Which he didnt do of course, anyway, he is sent to jail and then is given the option to stay locked up or join the army, he joins the army. 4 years after he was taken away, they meet up again and promise to be with each other when the war is over... Well i wont tell you much more. It is a sad, and sweet story. Very much a chick flick. But also with a few moments of gore. He is in the war...
