is there a cure ??????

I duck behind the wheel of  my car everytime I see one

Today when driving the boys we passed an Ambulance, I tried to not react........but failed. and heard my cheeky 10 year old in the back laughing, he proceeded to show me the rude hand gestures he had been making to the Ambulance !!!! LOL.... oops sorry for laughing

You all know why I am scared of them but does anyone have any visual or breathing techniques I can practise to get over this ????

hi Helen,

Did you know that your fear of Ambulances translates in to a fear of loud noises. I am sure that you will notice this yourself and given what you have been through I would say that it is quite normal . . .

You prompted me to write an article on fear . . Here is the link . I hope that it can help you out or at least give you an idea on how to cope with it . .

Thanks Kellz, I'll check that out

I think what started it is who could be in one of them and it developed from there. Now I can be driving in London and still shake at the sight of an Ambulance when there is no chance he is in there !!!!!
