Here are a few things about me.

I am 31 year old Australian, married to a French Canadian, and living close to Montreal, in Canada.

I am currently a stay at home mum with my 14 month old son, that is soon to change. Not the son the stay at home bit.

I have a 10 year old step daughter who only speaks french, so I have also had to learn a new language.

I came to Canada for a vacation and never left, its a classic tale of Backpacker meets french man and marries.

Before I became a mother i was a cook, mostly breakfasts.

Here are a few things about my family.

My husband is a General Contractor, builds and sells land and house packages.

My step daughter is starting grade five this year and is slowly learning english. I am so sure she knows more then she lets on because when I speak to her father she can jump in on a conversation just at the right place. So I now have to watch what I say. :)

Our son is 14 months old, running around, mouth full of teeth and starting to speak. Although sometimes sometimes to my english ears I think they are just noises then I realise he is speaking French. I speak mostly english with him and his father speaks mostly french, so with any luck he should be fully biligual. That is the plan anyway.

• Haydon and I were married in New Zealand in October last year (Haydon is from the north island)
• I am now 21 weeks pregnant (baby is due 30/12/06)
• I am not working at the moment, but before we moved I worked as a speech pathologist.
• My husband Haydon is a nurse.
• My hobbies are crochet, pottery and cardmaking.
• I hate cleaning and am yet to finish unpacking.
• I am finding the Minti site very addictive (Haydon is commenting on the amount of time I spend on it).
• We moved to Collie as it has lots of state forest for bushwalking, camping etc and is only 40 minutes drive from Bunbury and 2 and a half hours from Perth.

I enjoy going to the mums and bubs movies, going out for lunch with friends, cooking, reading, chatting and hanging out with other mums, love a good wine and good food. love listening to most kinds of music like from the 60's to todays music, goingto the beach and going to pubs. i have 3 neices and three nephews who are all gorgeos. i also have a best friend who i've know for 21 years. i enjoy being around my friends when i see them, but i most enjoy just being with my family and relaxing. thats all i ever wanted. i feel like the luckiest wife and mum to be in this situation. i wouldnt trade it in for anything.

hi all i'm a 37 year old house wife together with husband we care for his handycape mom and brother as well as the house work and our new baby kira . she is my mirical i thought i couldn't have children i had given up hope then i found out i was pg and here came kira . so i started planing for her develipment right away and worked with her as much as i could while pg. i once was a pechool teacher i had to give it up though i loved the job i was young and wanted out on my own so i quit the job for one i didn't like to get out on my own . but now i can use it for my dear kira and i thought ok why don't i organize what i want to work with her online with a website and group so here i am.  nice to meet u all

Hello everyone, my name is Robert, I'm 38yrs old. I just recently got married to my best friend. My wife and I are expecting a child with in 2 weeks or so. This is my very first child and I'm so excited.

I don't think I've stop thanking my wife and god for this gift that I'm finally recieving. It's a wonderful feeling to be a dad I just can't seem to stop crying, ( happy tears ).
