Man Rapes His Daughter For 30yrs... (Allegedly)

by llmunchkinComment Published at 18:3918:396 comments6 comments23 Visits23 VisitsReport

Yep, right here in good old Aussie... How many people must have turned a blind eye and allowed this horror to happen?

news.smh.com.au/breaking-news-national/vic-man-raped-daughter-for-30-years-20090917-frz9.html

www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,26084812-421,00.html

This is the quote that apalls me the most, "The Herald Sun has also spoken to neighbours of the family, who said they had suspicions of abuse but did not go to the authorities because they did not want to cause trouble."

APATHY:  THE EPIDEMIC THAT EMPOWERS ABUSERS TO WREAK HAVOC & HORROR ON THEIR VICTIMS ALL AROUND THE WORLD!

im so appalled and to think that its happening in my home state!

i cant believe that the police force didnt act on it !! and what about the appropiate governing body where were they? how can the minister sit in the comfort of her office and claim it wasnt brought to her attention???

Eh, confused. Since when do Police not act when children are involved !!!!!!!! I don't get it, if the poor girl went to the police in 2005 and was already a mother, which by my calculations she had to be, then her children were "At Risk". The police then don't need her permission to proceed or at least they dont here !!!!!!

Do the authorities in Aus not have the power to act in the childrens best interest !

Me thinks the system needs a radical overhawl in child law if that is the case.

If there is potential DNA evidence, then the victim should not have to carry the burden of prosecution, the state should take that burden and provide safety for mother and child !

I thought it was illegal to father your daughters child, reguardless of age of daughter at the time !

Is the mother demented?  You have this going on under your own roof & you don't notice???  Who the hell did she think was continuously impregnating her daughter?  The mind boggles!!!

This poor poor women, (the daughter), living a nightmare over & over again like that, my heart goes out to her & her children.  She must have a very dim view of the world indeed.

After calling the cops 3 times to deal with the domestic when we used to live in the unit complex we ended up calling children's services. I got sick to death of them only caring about their own needs while their little boy was crying on our door step, copying their abusive behaviour and swear words and running away to the park. I also had to call them out because this sicko was peeing in the bushes and my pedo radar went off as we lived across from a park. Hopefully we got justice for the kids!!

You're kidding me... they don't want to cause trouble.... They caused more damage by doing NOTHING!
