when you mix...

white with blue = pale blue

white with yellow = pale yellow

white with green = pale green

white with brown = pale brown

white with purple = pale purple

So when we mix white with red, why don't we get pale red? Why is it pink?

It is pale red, just called pink, like pale purple is lilac, pale brown is tan, pale yellow is pale yellow? and pale blue is sky....LOl!! I dunno!
