well i started off learning how to hand sew in Highschool when i mastered that mum taught me how to do Tapestries (little did she know she taught me the lefthanded way.... she is right handed) then i visited myk nana one day and got her to teach me Cross-stitch tried long-stitch could never get the patterns right. My mum both of my Nana's and a few of my great Aunts all love needlework of one sort or another. The only people in my family who are female and dont needle work is my sister and my dad's sisters. |
