im in the middle of making it now.

YOU WILL NEED:
  • CERAMICS IN GREENWARE
  • GLAZES (WE USED GLARE IN VANNILA SPICE, WILLOW AND GARE BUMPY DOODLES IN WHITE)
  • CLEANING TOOLS
  • WATER
  • BRUSHES
  • PENCIL

HOW TO DO IT:
  • CLEAN PLATE AND REMOVE ANY SEAMS CAUSED BU THE MOLD
  • LIGHTY WASH WITH A SOFT SPOUNGE
  • FIRE PLATE
  • APPLY VANNILA SPICE GLAZE  DOING 3 OR 4 COATS, ALLOW DRYING IN BETWEEN COATS.
  • LET THE LAST COAT DRY THOROUGHLY
  • TRACE OR DRAW A PATTEREN
  • FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURES INSTRUCTIONS, USE THE WHIT BUMPT DOODLE BOTTLE, AND OUTLINE THE PATTERN,ALLOW TO DRY.
  • DO NOT LET THE TIP OF THE BOTTLE TOUCH THE PLATE.
  • USING A SMALL BRUSH, APPLY ONE COAT OF WILLOW TO THE INSIDE OF BUMPY DOODLE OUTLINE. ALLOW TO DRY
  • APPLY A SECOND COAT TO ONE SIDE OF EACH LEAF. THE SECOND COAT WILL LIGHTLY DARKEN THAT SECTION OF THE LEAF.
  • FIRE
Check your local area for a ceramic studio or art classes to fire or make this.

i need some shelfs for the lounge room but i didnt want to by exspensive ones,
so we went to the reject shop and i found those wood corner shelf for like 5 bucks each and i also got one that  goes across the wall for 8 bucks.
which i thought were very cheap.
i didnt want to put them up just like that so i got some sample paint and painted them and they came out great.
this is a good idea if you want to get some shelves happening for the lounge kitchen and kids bedrooms.
and its affordable even for me lol

I built my own wall

by cheleinkalComment Published at 01:1801:180 comments0 comments72 Visits72 VisitsReport
We have an "L" shaped loungeroom and for 2 years I have asked my hubby to build me a wall, or get someone else to build a wall or HELP ME build a wall.  Well yesterday I made one (of sorts) myself.  The bottom of the L was never really utilised and before baby I thought it'd make a great multi purpose room if the wall was made out of cube type shelves, could be a walk in pantry, a study or as it is now....a toy room.  I still have to finish covering the backs so that it doesn't look like backs, but am going shopping tomorrow to see what I can find for next to nothing.

from the lounge side.  They are all screwed together side & down.
And this is the playroom side.  Everything but the toy box with the D is second hand...toys included (most of them from my nanny days)

Cost was......1.5 hours, mainly taken up with removing and restacking books.

Cars bedroom

by zjComment Published at 13:3213:322 comments2 comments231 Visits231 VisitsReport
Recently my husband spent money decorating my boys bedroom with borders etc. Well the borders (which weren't cheap) fell off and the room looked like a disaster. With the release of the movie Cars all sorts of possibilities opened up. My son's went mad over the movie. It started when we got a banner for his birthday. Instead of throwing the pictures of the characters in the bin, we cut them out and stuck them on the wall of their room, from there we got pictures off of  tissue boxes, car packets, and printed pictures of the internet. We must have spent $15.00 if that. And the boys love their room. We are also always adding to it.
