I want to know what you think the pro's and cons are of such a system.

Things to concider are the costs involved in setting this system up, how the phone lines will handle such a thing (as in blocking 000 calls etc) and the "panic" levels it may cause and also how helpful it would have been in past disasters and future disasters

Hi All

I noticed this group and thought I'd join as I really enjoy examining different issues and hearing new perspectives and ideas.  It has however been a bit quiet  lately - perhaps as a result of the holidays.  Thought I'd throw in a few topics for consideration as subjects should this pick up again:

• Ante natal screening (eg, NT Scan, amniocentesis, CVS)
• Childcare
• Should you be able to select the gender of your baby?
• The pros and cons of having a baby younger or older
• Nappies - Cloth v Disposable

how about antibiotics,  When your kid is sick do you rush out go to the doctor and get antibiotics or do you let the Illness take it's course?
