Poetry corner for everyone

Here is a poem i wrote for my bestest friend she has always been there for me no matter what. thought i would share it with you all.

Best Friends

You've always been there for me

No matter what the problem may be

At times i've put you in a bind

Yet you always say you really don't mind

I consider you my very best friend

A friendship I hope will never end

So if you need a helping hand

I'm the one who'll take the stand

You have a greater inner strength

For which you'll go to any length

I wish for you the best in life

That perfect man to become his wife

May there be happiness in everything you do

These words I've written are just for you

You will also be pleased to know that 6months after i wrote this poem she found that perfect man and has been happily married for the past 9yrs

I feel every kick you make
And you're every single heartbeat
I can't wait 'till that very day,
That we finally get to meet

I want to hold you in my arms
And let everyone know your mine
Once you are here with me
I know every day is going to shine

You are my beautiful angel
That fell from the heavens above
And from this day forward
You will always have my undying love

This is from an email i got from a friend many years ago, and i printed it out and kept it in my poetry folder. Hope you all like it.

Accepts you as you are
Believes in you
Calls you just to say HI
Doesn't give up on you
Envisions the whole you
Forgives your mistakes
Gives unconditionally
Helps you
Invites you over
Just be with you
Keeps you close at heart
Loves you for who you are
Makes a difference in your life
Never judges
Offer support
Picks you up
Quiets your fears
Raises your spirits
Says nice things about you
Tells you the truth when you need to hear it
Understands you
Values you
Walks beside you
X plains things you don't understand
Yells when you don't listen
Zaps you back to reality

A Friend

A friend is someone we turn to

when our spiritss need a lift,

A friend is someone we treasure

for our friendship is a gift.

A friend is someone who fills our lives

with beauty, joy and grace

And makes the whole workld we live in

a better and happier place.

If i could climb the highest mountai,

or i i could part the sea

i would do it always for you,

because you mean the world to me

beyond the storm clouds in the sky,

of blueish shades of grey,

i would bring you a rainbow

to brighten up your day.
