To a degree i can.  I've had the evil stares and comments from people when breastfeeding in public.  Why should i race of to the toilet to do it?  I don't believe in racing off to the doctor with every snuffle or sniffle that befalls my children.  I'm a strong advocate for Homeopathy, diet and nutrition for the best outcome.  I don't believe in medicating children at the drop of a hat or at least until we have explored other areas first.  I think our lifestyles have a huge part to play in the 'modern' diseases of today, and i believe that a lot of what goes on is fear based.  We are told this and that from our doctors that we take it as gospel.  Like the great vaccination debate.  I have numerous friends who have choosen not to vacinate their children, and i have no problem with that.  I admire them for standing by their convictions.
