I'm from the West Middlands, England . Lisa (Ametrine) I would have loved a large family unfortunatly nature decided otherwise. I was fortunate enought to be able to adopted my daughter. I've always elplained it to them as. Antony,( he was 8 when Sirah came to live with us) was special because he was chosen by the angles to be my 1st child and Sirah (who was 3) was special because she was also chosen by the angles to live with us but because I couldent have any more babies my self she had to come to us by a longer route.

Hey Shazz, we have alot in common, I have 3 kids ages 20,18,and 7yrs. I see you have a big gap between the last two also. We live in Brisbane, Queensland. Its nice to hear of older kids on this site too.

Hi Befney,
Yes, we do have alot incommon. Raising teenagers involves many challenges. I tend to think the easy part is when they are small and all we have to worry about is toilet training and are they eating right.
My three older children are all so different, but all equally wonderful. I'm amazed by their courage as they struggle to find their way in life.
My youngest, Felicity, is 3 and she is amazing. We all thoroughly enjoy every day with her.
This site is very interesting as you listen to each parents perspective on raising children.
The advice offered tends to be very sensible and helpful.
I hope you and your children are well.
