Fairie Tales

As Children many of us were told Tales by our Parents, Grand Parents and Relatives. I thought it would be nice to share these with each other, whether it be tales of The Fairies, The Home Country or Old Wives Tales. Many of these Tales are being lost to time, so if you have any it would be nice to pass on and share for the next generation,LOL.

The Easter Bunny Story

by DarkenedAngelComment Published at 02:3102:312 comments2 comments163 Visits163 VisitsReport

(Many fables and bedtime stories have some truth behind them, some more so than others. The first part of this story is as it was told to me by my mother. The second part of the story where I met the Easter Bunny is actually true - with a few reality details left out to keep it story-like and little kiddy suitable. It's an appropriate time of year so I thought I'd share it.)

When I was a little girl, I found out about the Easter Bunny. He even came to live with my family for a while... twice! and he visited my own children once as well.

The story of the Easter Bunny...

Two little children were visiting their Grandmother one Easter weekend. On Easter Sunday morning the children went out to play in the garden and found a basket of chocolate eggs that someone had left for them with a note to them saying "Happy Easter".

The children had no idea where the basket of eggs came from, but just as they were about to go inside to ask their grandmother about them, they saw a very large rabbit hop away from behind a nearby bush and out of the yard. They had never seen a rabbit like it before. It was as pure white as fresh snow, had pink ears and pink eyes, and it was the biggest rabbit they had ever seen!

The children guessed that it must have been the special rabbit that left the eggs for them. They ran inside to tell their Grandmother all about the large white rabbit leaving the basket of chocolate eggs for them...

and so began the story of the Easter Bunny.

One Easter Sunday morning, my Father opened the front door to collect the newspaper, and sitting there on the doormat was the largest pure as fresh snow white rabbit with pink ears and eyes that he'd ever seen! The rabbit didn't mind at all that my Father picked him up and brought him inside.

My Father asked around the neighbourhood to find out if anyone knew where the rabbit came from. No one wanted to look after the rabbit, so we kept him. We lived in a big city with lots of dogs and cats and cars, and it wouldn't have been safe for the rabbit to be running around loose all the time. So my Father made a big hutch for him and we looked after the rabbit for several years.

It was strange that every Easter Saturday evening the rabbit would disappear from sight and would reappear at the front of his hutch again on Easter Sunday morning to eat the carrots I would put there for him. And I always got lots of chocolate eggs as well!

One Easter Sunday morning I got a lot more chocolate eggs than normal, but my Easter Bunny didn't appear in his cage. I thought he must have gone to give more eggs to other children. I had my fair share, so it was all good.

Then many years later when I was much older and my little brother was a little child, I was walking home from a friend's place one Easter Sunday morning just as the sun was rising, and I almost fell over a huge pure white rabbit with pink ears and eyes! It was the same rabbit, I was sure of it! He didn't move and just sat there at my feet. I picked him up and took him home to keep him safe.

Again, no one wanted to look after him, so we kept him and my little brother looked after him for several years. Again, my brother always used to get lots of chocolate eggs and the rabbit would be in his cage to eat the carrots my brother gave to him on Easter Sunday mornings. One Easter Saturday night he disappeared and he hasn't been seen since... except once...

One Easter Sunday morning my children and I went out in the back yard to play. We saw a huge pure white rabbit with pink ears and eyes hop quickly across the yard and under a hole in the fence. My children got lots of Easter eggs that year as well.

So if ever you see a very large pure white rabbit with pink ears and pink eyes on Easter Sunday morning, be nice to it, because it might be the Easter Bunny!

Hmm, Thinking.

by MrsSandersComment Published at 03:1903:193 comments3 comments66 Visits66 VisitsReport

I was thinking and came up with an Idea.

A Minti Fairy Story Written by Members of the Fairy Tales Group. How about I start it off and Tag a member, all they would have to do is add a short  paragraph in the comment box to help take the story, well where ever!!!!!!!

The Fairy Queen's Ball.

Oh no, no again !!!!!!!!!! Juniper dropped her head in onto her hand's and sighed. She had over slept  yet again, third time in a week, despite taking steps to ensure she didn't.

What happend ! Did Badger Tilly forget to knock her up on her way home !!!!!!!!! Only five day's to go to the Ball and no Snow Drops could be found any where in the Kingdom. The Fairy Queen had to have a Dress of Snow Drop petals for the Winter Festival, it was an Ancient tradition. Where was Tilly and why were there no Snow Drops any where? Juniper stretched herself, shook her head, lept out of bed determined to solve this puzzle. She was not going to be the first Dressmaker in History to fail the Queen.

Firstly though, she was going to find Tilly and find out exactly why she did not turn up............

I now Tag Janice to tell us what happend next !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Raylea of She Who Watches

by MarglrComment Published at 05:2405:249 comments9 comments49 Visits49 VisitsReport

Raylea fluttered a little.  Just a wiggle and a squirm.  She opened one eye, down it drifted again.  She wiggled again and her eye popped open!  The sleepy little fairie was sleepy no more.  Her struggle with opening her eye was over and her mind raced!  Where is the sky?  Raylea thought...what ever is wrong?  Where is the sky?  She looked at the dull colours around her and tried hard to place what was going on!  Her eyes traced the viens and the brown and then she started to remember.   She drew a breath and thought  how cozy and warm and how snuggly she felt.  Ahhhh, she breathed out and she slowed and she relaxed and took in her new sleeping place.  The rounded leaf was bent like a dome over her and the leaf design was simple but very pretty!  What a ceiling!  The brown of the dried leaf let through a wee bit of light so her dear sun must up there in the sky some where!  She was just so use to sleeping in the flowers and waking as the sun started to heat them.  As the delightful smells of nectar made her think of a hungry tummy she would stretch and open  her eyes to the sun.  This was different!  No sun and no nectar.  She thought of the hungry tummy and saw her wings needed to shine so she started to think.

She remembered looking high up in the tree to these leaves and remembered the cold!  She looked at the wound up spider web that she had balled up to rest her head on.  Hummm she sounded as she shook the web out to wrap around her.  Hummmm she remembered her trip to the honey!  Hummm she thought as she started to look about for a way out to see what was going on outside!  Hummm, hummmm, hummm!  She fluttered and hummmed as she spun about her warm little dome.  Her vibrations did the trick!  She saw a spot of shiney white and as she near the tiny little crack that was white instead of brown she  wondered at it.   Tiny little crystals!  All piled one on top of the other, all poking designs and sparkling!!  She giggled with excitment and her wings sped up!  This started to blow the crystals and they loosened at her tiny little door.  Loosened enough to allow a tiny little fairie to push past the crystals and see for the first time what the crystals had done!

She stayed in the air and she looked.  She looked and looked!  She spun all the way round and didn't know what to think!   The sparkle crystals were every where!  They covered the fields and meadows and they even hung and hugged the trees!  They sat on the branches and clung here and there on everything!   She saw the river and they were not there.  The river ran dark and deep through all the white of the crystals.  She saw the trees had dark spots, trunks and some branches were the crystals were not.  But everything else was white!!  She continued to gaze at everything but then thought back  to her hunger.  She would find the stump and the honey food and see what she could see after her wings shone again.

Her trip was fast to the honey food and she found it easily!  Her smell of the honey lead her to the stump and her tiny meal made her wings glow!  Ahhh, she felt so much better and so much in wonder of the white crystals, how could she find out more about them?  She spun high into the silver air and looked .  She didn't know really what she was looking for but thought she would know when and if she saw it!   It turned out to be some movement in the white crsytals.  How strange she thought.  Why are the white crystals moving?  But they were!  Here and there you would see a little puff! Puff!  Puff! The white crystals puffed up just a little!   She giggled as she watched the wiggly line of little puffs!  Too much for a very curious fairie....too much!  She had to look!

She zipped down through the silvery grey sky and flew over the puffs!  Puff!  Puff!  The last puff blew the crystals into her face and she giggled out loud at the cold and wetness of them hitting her.  Then the puffing stopped!  She waited.  She waited some more!  Raylea could stand the question of the puffs no longer and buzzed near to the very last puff that had blew up to her face!  What was there?  What puffed , what would she see if she looked down that tiny little puff hole?  Her little nose got closer to the hole and just when she was to peer into and down the puff hole ... yikes!!!  Yikes!!  She swirled up high to the clouds as something pink and very cold poked her!!!  Yikes, yikes, yikes!!!!

Raylea stopped her spin to the clouds and could see from way up high a wiggle were the puff hole was.  She flew closer and held the spider web about her tightly.  She came down and down focusing on that one spot.  The spot where the wet pink thing had poked her!!    As she came to the puff hole she hit her wings against the spider web that she held so tight around her and it made a beautiful sound...  the sound of a celtic harp.  Again that sweet soft music hung in the air as her wings hit the web.  This was too much for the pink wet thing and it had to come up out of the puff hole to hear the music better!

That was the moment Raylea met Jasper,Mouse of the Meadow!

Raylea Adventures with the Crystal Waters

by MarglrComment Published at 10:4210:4211 comments11 comments61 Visits61 VisitsReport

Raylea decided it was time to head north.  Way north!  She had been watching the trees sway in the warm breezes off of the coast but she felt the urge to go to the north.  Being Fairie she always followed her heart.  She took to the air and stretched!   A good trip was in order.  She felt her wings and saw that they shimmered so she knew she had eatten enough nectar to make the trip.  Off she went!

She caught the warm breeze and rode it high up, up, into the air!  What fun to swoop and sail and ride the winds.  She played as she headed north dipping in and out of the fluffy low clounds and reaching to get warm in the clear sun beams.  She hadn't flown for this length of time in a while and the total freedom felt good, she was enjoying her fly to the utmost!   She saw birds and stopped to fly for a moment with a group of geese.  Where are you headed she asked?  She knew goose quite well and spoke it with only a little accent.   Knowing goose manners she talked with only the head bird, the oldest bird leading the large V through the crisping air.  Fairie you waste my time! , was the sharp reply to her query.  So sorry Great Leader,  let me introduce myself.  I shall not fly with you long as I intend to head north.  I am Raylea of She Who Watches.   Well why is it that you watch me?  I have led this growing V for well into 12 goose years and I want to make it to the corn field near the lake before night.    This 12th flight south is a huge responsiblity!   Raylea was not to be put off, she thought her question important so again she asked...  Is that the end of your trip, the corn field by the lake?  Ahhh you are a young Fairie...no,  I will only stop there so all my charges can eat and rest.  We will continue south.  Oh exciting! A long trip for your V then??,  she asked as she flitted here and there around the old bird!!  Fairie Raylea we will continue until we reach the waters that are not hard.   With that Leader Bird strengthened his flying stroke and sped to escape the talkitive Fairie.  Raylea pondered the answer as the long V passed by her.  She saw so many birds and wondered at their flight.

True,  she was rather new to the north.  She had just been given her new duties.  She was excited about the north and knew there were so many new things to see and think about.   She would try her best to handle it all and be the best young Fairie Watcher that ever flew this way!   She lost concern as the winds changed and she began to feel the crisp turn to cold!

Fairie Raylea was not use to cold.  She dwelt in the warmth and sun most of the time and slept through the dark.  Sometimes when dark came and sun rested it was cooler but this was sun and it was cold!!  She pulled the stories through her head and thought of all she had heard.  She tried to find some way to understand the coldness of the air while the sun shone.  She had heard of white but had not listened well.  She stopped to seek nectar as the cold was drawing her strength.   Funny her last trip to her new strand of trees had seen things so differently.  Now the great trees stood with no leaves and the green was only from the pines and spruces. She shivered and found a spiders web to wrap in.  Ahh she thought, how lovely to drape this fine netting about me!  It had worked during the night to warm her and this large web covered her well from shoulders to tippy toe!  As well as adding warmth it kept out the wind which was so cold!!  Now she looked for food as she needed to eat to gain some energy for flight and warmth!!  No flowers at all,  no green on the ground or in the fields she saw.  The meadows were flatter and seemed cold themselves.  She saw bear and thought she'd ask more questions.  Bear,  were are you going?  Bear said, too tired must go now for winter.  Bear!  Raylea spoke louder...were are the flowers?   Well gone little one, flowers, berries,  season to sleep now, slowly spoke the Bear.  I have just eatten my fill and off to den I go.  Eatten Bear??  Where did you eat?  Den Bear,  what is den?  Questions were in Raylea's mind but she needed food!   Bear ever so slowly said...den is my bed for white time when there are no berries and honey is what Bear found.  Good night Fairie.   And he lumbered off, swaying side to side as his huge body made way through the dried meadow.  She watched his path and saw him go into a huge hole in the cliff side.  Bear was gone but the smell of honey was in the air.  Hummmmmm though Raylea, almost smells like dew nectar.  She followed the smell to find an old tree that was now a tall stump.  Into it she flew and found part of a wonderful structure holding honey.  She tired this new food and it was good.  She only took such a small amout but it did the trick to keep her warm and she felt good again!

She looked for an Iris as she was so tired.  None of her favourite palces to sleep!!  Well new times need new thoughts so the little fairie wrapped in web sat and thought.  Her tummy was full, she felt warm but so worn from her trip...ah!!!  She looked high into the spruce near by and saw some dried leaves caught in the soft needles.  Up she went to see, yes,  a lovely snuggy place to sleep the night!!  She was happy and the wonders were just starting to come.  As she looked to see the sun set she saw the sky light with crystals.  They danced and landed and caught the colours of the setting sun!  So many!   So lovely!  But what were they?  She had seen rain drop from the sky but these new north crystals were so delicate and so beautiful.  She saw some land near and turn to water!  Amazing!  She saw them come and come and start to layer up on each other.  Strange she thought.  I will investigate when I wake.  And with that tired Raylea's eyes closed and she dreamed of chasing these crystals and finding why and where they came from.

Howdy

by MarglrComment Published at 07:1207:124 comments4 comments51 Visits51 VisitsReport

Raylea felt something different.  Instead of her stretching and slowly opening her eyes she felt a vibration and something falling on her!  Her gentle waking to her new day was not to be.  Her lids opened to see a dark form and buzzz, buzzz and soft yellow dust falling all over her!  The lip of the purple iris petal were she had settled for the night was shaking now as Mr. Bee flew closer to gather the pollen!  Had she over slept?  She giggled at the fright and swooped out of her cosy little spot.

She fluttered above to see Mr. Bee busy moving back and forth and noticed the yellow floating trail she left in the air.  Pollen in her curls and on her ever so delicate wings!!  What a way to start the day!  She spun and swooped in the air in lovely large circles until she shone!  Away went all the yellow pollen and she checked her appearance in the dew drops.  Can't have a fairie reporting to work in anything other than tip top condition!

She took her job seriously.  She came from a long line of those who had done their jobs well.  Her Great Mother of the Earth was the one that had looked after the red cedars on Canada's west coast!  She had heard stories of this Grand Fairie from the time she could first remember.  She herself had already moved up one step to become Sprite of Earth!  She was so excited by that but the elm she had kept care of was healthy and strong and that pleased the Grand Fairie Ring so she was moved up!  What a great way for such a young fairie to follow her elders steps!

Now she had these thoughts running through her head as she went to check on her latest charge.  She flitted by the large outcrop of the rose coloured rock and set her sights for the clump of trees that sat where the north star was in the time before night. She saw the river and swooped out of high air to see who was about at these early hours!  Down to the river bank to step into the water. She tip toed across the pebbles not using her wings.  To be on ground was one way to gain energy. She stood on a large pebble that was grey were the water ran around it and the top had a mica fleck in it.  The shinny black mica layers called the sun to it and Raylea felt the warmth.  She lingered there a bit watching the young fish and all the activity on the rivers bottom.  She could see the strands of plants gently being pulled by the flowing river.  She saw the little creatures eatting and poking here and there looking for more food.   She felt her little being needed the sun energy but she also did need to find some dew to drink and if it were in a flower she could gain a little more strength for her travels.

She left the river bank with no one knowing she had been there and flew low over the meadows next to the river.  The gentle morning winds were just starting to dry the meadow so finding her dew was not going to be hard.  She skimmed over the large daisies, bright yellow with large black centers and saw the morning glories twisting and nodding in the breeze.  She loved to see the violets open and lift their little faces to the sun.  But today she felt the need  for the extra energy so she was looking for her farourite flower.  It beinging early in the first start season she knew they would be some where.  She skirted the woods and then she saw them come into veiw.  A whole side of a hill covered in her trilliums.  She flew low over them looking for that special one that would hold what she needed.  The white trilliums gently carressed  the hill in a blanket of white in the dark forest bed.  She looked to see the bright red ones tucked in the sea of white.  They didn't happen too often so seeing the red amoung the white was reason to giggle!   There in the sun was the one she should land on.  It held the morning dew and she felt it was safe to rest a while here.  She enjoyed the pollen soaked dew and knew she could fly all day on that energy.  Her route for checking on her charges was long and quite a vast area for a young fairie.  She knew once she had attained the age of one silver maple that her duties would be different.  But for now she loved her guardianship of the trees.

Her small frame lifted from the forest edge and having now gotten half way to her point she felt refreshed and wonderful and flew at full speed,a dashing speck of sparkle in the morning air.

Raylea spotted from quite a way up the trees she had been sent to check on. She dropped fast and swirled about the tree tops.  She felt such a burst of energy from being in the trees.  She scooted down the massive trunk of the largest oak and stopped to check a robin's nest!  There were three beautiful blue eggs.  The colour of the sky they were.  She touched them and through the shell whispered... Good mMrning Robin!  She heard the movement from within and knew soon they would fill the nest with little mouths that both Mom and Dad would try to fill!  She giggled at the tought!  How beautiful to have these in her trees.  She landed below and took the moment to gaze up the tree.  Up along it's bark to the top of this towering giant.  She loved her tree that held new life and sheltered those below, the deer that rested at it's base and the chipmunks that ran about ilke it was there as a play toy!  Chipmunks!!  She thought.  It is time!  She went to the far lee of her tree to see the soft little tiny sprouts. They were vivid green against the dark damp earth.  Yes!  Her heart lightened with joy.  There they were!  The little acorns that the chipmunks had stored and chewed had sprouted.  There would be more great oaks.

Raylea noted all that had happened that day  in her long rounds and noticed that the sun was starting to drop.  Not a bad day at all she thought as she searched for her sleep place for this evening.  Her choice was a clump of iris again!  She did love the soft fuzzy center of the petals,so comfy to curl up on.  She would be in a good position as the iris clump was high on an hill over looking the waters, to be one of the first to feel the suns rays and get a start on her day with the sun.  She cuddled in and kept an eye on the lightening bug that shone off and on in the tall grasses.  Hummm she thought, Mr. Lightening Bug knows warmer days are on their way.  I'll have to check to make sure the sprouting oaks have enough water.  Her eyes closed and opened again to see the blinking of the light from Mr. Lightening Bug then a very tired fairie dozed off to dream of the sun and wind and trees.

This is my offering for your lovely contest Winnie.  Writen by Marg!!!    LOL!

Angelic and the Realmorator!

by RavenheartComment Published at 23:0223:0210 comments10 comments85 Visits85 VisitsReport

As Angelic skipped down the garden path she felt the spring breeze flow threw her golden locks, skipping down the path she had no idea of the adventure that was to come...

Sitting down under the shade of a 150 year old elm tree she rested and began to tie her shoe, daydreaming of the little fairies her grandma had told her about in her bedtime stories.

She lay back against the old elm she drifted of into a slumber.

When all of a sudden she was woken by the sounds of whimpering, she stood up rubbing her eyes, what that could be she wondered as she walked further into the woods towards the whimpering sounds.

The sounds grew louder and louder when she came to an opening, there on a rock sat a tiny person with... with... wings... no it couldn’t be, Angelic rubbed her eyes again... "Um excuse me maam, are you ok?" asked Angelic.

The tiny person spun around and glared at Angelic, "you... you can see me?" asked the tiny person.

"Of course I can" asked Angelic puzzled.

"What family are you from being?" demanded the tiny person.

"Family? Um do you mean my last name?" responded angelic.

"Yes child what family and realm are you from?" snapped this tiny person who was now standing on the rock.

"Patterson... that’s my families name but I’m not sure what you mean by realm, I’m sorry... um, what is your name miss?" asked angelic.

"Kora Valraskia, princess of the Benelia Realm, soon to be Queen Moska of the Toriak Realm" said Princess Kora.

"Soon to be?" said Angelic.

"Yes my Father, King Valraskia, has planned my wedding to the most foul fairy I have ever met, Prince Norek, which is why I am here, so far from home, sobbing like a human child" Princess Kora began to circle Angelic, "your not from any realm are you?, Oh no! Your HUMAN... how... how is it you can see me?" questioned Princess Kora.

"I’m sorry, did you say f... f... fairy" Angelic backed away from Princess Kora, stunned and shocked as princess Kora let her wings out to their full span, glittering in the sunshine.

At that very moment claps of thunder pounded down from the sky making both girl jump, " quick follow me I know a place close by we can shelter" Said Princess Kora.

Princess Kora took Angelic by the hand and they ran towards the great big old Elm tree, "we will be safe here” said Princess Kora as she pointed to the huge tree.

"In the tree?” said Angelic Puzzled, yet again.

Princess Kora felt around the tree until she found a small bump in the bark, she placed her hand over the bump and it was as if a star pattern shone thru her skin. A door shape appeared in the bark of the tree, it pushed back and slide across reveling a velvety red room inside.

"Oh my, this is amazing said Angelic as she stepped in side.

She looked around in awe, the room seemed to be lined with a velvet type of material in an amber red color and as she looked up she could hardly believe her yes, millions of tiny lights in every color, even colors she had never seem before, flickered around.

"What is this place?" she asked.

"Its called an relmorator, it takes you to any realm you desire, this is how I came to be in your human realm, you know I really shouldn't be showing you this" Said Princess Kora as she waved her hand over the walls of the tree. Her hand lit up again and she placed her hand on the wall, a series of symbols shone threw her hand, star, moon, heart, star.

Angelic just stood there stunned and in awe.

All of a sudden the lights above her started to circle the room, faster and faster.

"What’s going on?" angelic asked.

"I’m taking you to my realm, now that u have seen me I can’t let you tell the other humans about us! Princess Kora sat down on the floors of the relmorator.

"You can't do that! My mother and grandma will worry sick and Ill miss them terribly, this is not fair I demand you let me out NOW" Yelled Angelic and she felt around for a way out.

"That will do you no good, unless you have the Luna running thru your veins you can’t use our objects, this is our safeguard against your kind" Princess Kora laided back and shut her eyes. "Rest child, we will be here a while"

Angelic dropped to the floor in a heap and started to sob, she couldn’t believe this was japanning, maybe if she went to sleep she would wake up and still be in the woods.

THUD

Angelic woke suddenly, looking up the lights had gone, she looked around, Princess Kora was no where to be seen, the door was slightly ajar.

She stood up and peered out the door, it looked like the same woods she had been in earlier, she pushed to door open and stepped outside.

The door to the elm tree slammed shut and faded back into the bark.

Angelic was very confused, had any of that even happened?

She decided to head home, hoping that home was there. 5 minutes later she could see your house just thru the trees, her heart began to skip with joy and she started to run home.

She busted thru the front door "mum, mum where are you!" she called out.

Her mum came out from the kitchen, with a puzzled look on her face. "Hmm must have been the wind" she said as she closed the front door and walked back into the kitchen, not even giving Angelic eye contact.

"Mum, it wasn’t the wind, it was me, mum" Angelic followed her mum into the kitchen

Her mum didn’t even hear her, Angelic ran to the sun room where her grandma was resting in her rocking chair, "Grandma Can you see me?" She asked, panicked.

Grandma just sat there gently rocking back and forth.

"Oh no, I’m stuck in another realm and they can't see me, I must find that Princess Kora" Angelic ran out of the house and back towards the Elm tree.

"Kora, Kora" A loud mans voice yelled. Angelic ran towards the voice, just threw the trees she saw a Man standing next to a shining silver horse, as she got closer she realized it wasn't a horse but a unicorn.

"excuse me sir, I need your help” asked Angelic.

The man spun around and looked Angelic up and down, "Human, you can see me, what is the meaning of this?" He asked with a booming deep voice.

"Well you see Princess Kora did this to me, I mean she brang me here, and I want to go home please you have to open the Elm tree, please you just have to" pleaded Angelic.

"Ah... Kora is trying to avoid marrying me, my name is Norek, Prince Norek actually but you can call me Norek, why would she do such a thing to such a pretty human child" Prince Norek walked around Angelic as if he was assessing her.

"I’m sorry, I don’t mean to sound rude but I really just want to go home, I mean back to my realm, what ever that is" She said, getting rather annoyed with her situation.

"Hmm well that depends, do you remember the symbols that shone thru Koras lunasite?" He asked

"Luna site? her palm?" Angelica responded.

"Yes, four symbols that will tell me where u came from" Replied Norek.

"Oh dear, star... um.. Heart... no, heart... oh no, I don’t remember?" Angelic sat on the lush green grass in a heap.

"Well then we have to find Kora, and that could take days!" Norek Hopped onto the back of his unicorn and patted behind him as if to gesture for Angelic to jump onto the unicorn with him.

"I have never ridden a horse before" she said

"brrrr HORSE INDEED," I loud angry voice boomed

"Hahaha never mind Tolan, he is one of the few remaining Unicorns and being called a horse is somewhat of an insult” Joked Norek.

"Oh dear, I'm so very very sorry Tolan I didn’t mean to insult" apologized Angelic.

"Ah what can one expect from a mere human anyway” Laughed Tolan

"Humph that’s not nice" grizzled Angelic as she mounted Tolan.

Tolan trotted off towards the horizon, “So where are we headed?” Asked Angelic.

“Kora like to party so I’m guessing she may be at the ZaaZaa” Norek replied.

“ZaaZaa?” Asked Angelic.

“Haahahah Yes it’s only the most exclusive fairy hangout spot in this realm, its deep inside a cave that’s concealed by a majestic waterfall. The cave walls lined with Variolite rock with and the best daffodil tea in the world!” Norek laughed as he directed Tolan towards a massive waterfall.

Tolan stopped right on the edge of the cliff face and stamped his hoofs four times and all of a sudden the rock beneath them shuddered and started to lower like an elevator.

“Oh my, what’s happening?” Asked Angelic terrified.

“It’s all ok; this is the entrance to ZaaZaa, sit tight it won’t take more then a moment!” Assured Norek.

Within 30 seconds the rock had lowered into the cave and came to an abrupt stop, Angelic looked around in awe. The water gushed down the entrance of the cave but made no sounds at all, all she could hear were the harps being played by a group of what looked like giant Butterflies. As Tolan took them deeper into the cave she noticed the fantastic green rock walls and the shinning webs all over the roof of the cave with water droplets reflecting light in to the cave. Up ahead she could see what looked like a magical café with toadstools for tables and chairs and low and behold there she was!

“Kora!” yelled Angelic “Kora I need your help”

Tolan stopped and lowered down so Angelic and Norek could get of with ease.

“Oh my, look what the cats dragged in” sneered Kora.

“I assume your referring to me, Kora please you know I want this marriage as much as you do! just let this poor child go home and Ill speak with your father about arranging something else” Norek replied sternly.

“Hmm I suppose I could let her go back, but how do I know she can be trusted!” Kora snapped.

“Do you really think anyone will believe me if I tell them of this magical place?” said Angelic.

“Hmm I suppose not” Kora said as she stood up, “star moon heart star, that’s your address, now of you go your disturbing my mojo!” Kora walked away to order another Daffodil Tea.

“Well my dear Angelic, there you go, you can go home now” Tolan said.

“But don’t I need Luna to work that relmorator thingy?” Asked Angelic.

“I can do it for you, hop on we must hurry, if you’re here to long you will get Luna in you and will never be able to leave” Norek said and he got back on Tolan.

“No one said anything about a time frame” paniced Angelic as she got onto Tolan.

Tolan Stepped onto the rock platform and stomped his hoofs. The rocks rose back up to the surface.

Tolan raced thru the woods, around trees and over rocks. Angelic hanging on with all her might.

They reached the Old Elm tree just as the sun began to set.

Norek Placed his hand over the Luna site and recited the address “star moon heart star” With that the elm tree door slide open and Angelic stepped inside.

“It was nice knowing you Angelic” Said Norek

“Likewise Prince Norek” Bowed Angelic as she stepped inside and sat down.

The Elm door slammed shut and the light on the roof started to swirl.

Angelic dozed off into a slumber. It had been a busy day after all!

Thud.

Angelic awoke; she was sitting in front of the old elm tree. She stood up and ran for home, bursting thru the front door yelling “Mum”

“Angelic, what’s all this noise about?”

“I’m sorry mum, I have been away for longer then I expected”

“What on earth are you on about dear, you have been gone all but an hour?” Replied Angelics mother.
