Born in 1998

Hi there,

Just feeling so exhausted and rather feeling a little blue as our 1st daughter Krystal is growing up so quick!!

I cannot believe that it was 10 years yesterday that I had her - just seems like yesterday,too!!

She is so moody and emotional,too!! Is that the norm for girls her age? Kids are so different from when I was a child,too!!

Just sometimes I feel so helpless as not sure how to deal with all the stuff that goes with this age!!

Other girls in her class are so catty,too!! We try to teach our kids to respect other people & their belongings,too!!

Am i so out of touch? We teach our kids the same morals & manners that we both my hubby & I were taught!!

If anyone has the same feelings & thoughts as me - would like to hear from you,too!!

oh i have so many things to discuss with mintimamas about 1998-ers.  madeleine is giving me fits.  anyone out there?

Anyone sending their 1998-er off to a new school?  Would love to hear how you're coping, getting ready, etc!

is having trouble at school. I am going to speak to her teacher today to see how she is going. Brielle tends to talk alot and rush through her work does anybody else have this problem with an 8 year old.

MY son John is 9 years old today......he was up at the crack of dawn this morning waiting to go shopping with his birthday money.  His father gave him the day off from school, now he is just sitting by the day waiting for his dad to take him out.  Happy Birthday John May you have a fun day  filled with love and happiness.

Hello, John is my silent child always thinking on what to plan next, you can see it in his eyes. He was born on the 16th of March 1998 and is now in grade 4 of primary school in a single grade 4 class and not with grade 3. His primary school brought in the single classes again - which he loves. He will be having a birthday soon in a few weeks and we have no idea what to get for him as he has alot of things.

Hi i have 2 girls Tiffany's 8 and Annabell's 5 i love doing there birthday partys the best party's to put on for the special little ones are costume party's lol there is so much they can dress up  and the kids love them i had a costume party for tiffany last year i thought i would do face painting aswell lol the biggest mistake i ever did lol we had face paint every where the older kids would sneaik up behide us and rub it all over our face but the main thing is they had fun if your stuck for ideas for your kids party's ask them they give some good ideas lol thank you for listing bye all

i have an 8 year old son called zach born on 23rd april 1998.

what do you do for birthday parties? he's had a football party, swimming party, multi sports party, inflatable party and all the usual baby soft play ect. i have run out of idea's! do you have any? help me before i go mad!

My older daughter, Shaina, is such a diva. Right now she is lecturing my younger tomboy daughter about which singers are the best to imitate and how to wear eyeshadow correctly. LOL at least time at home is always interesting. She is always a help and a delight and does so well academically but I wonder rather anxiously if she will turn out like the leader on the movies Mean Girls *shudder* . Should I be doing more to combat this?

Brielle bought home her report card today and she did very well we are very proud of her especially with her maths she got excellent marks in all areas of maths. Our clever little girl.
