Hi everyone. I've been blogging for 3 months but I just joined Minti. I still don't really know my way around here that well yet. My blog is called Connect with your Teens through Pop Culture and Technology but is really a blog that almost anybody could like.

Hi all, As a parent of 2 boys and a fulltime working mom, sometimes I wonder, if I`m fully involved in my kid`s education and school activities..I wish I could be more involved, but theres only one problem - TIME. I dont get enough time for anything. Anyways, that wish got fulfilled very recently. I came across this amazing website for parents called SchoolParentNet.com - it has some really cool tools for us parents like:

• online school directory
• sign up sheets for school activities, field trips and fundraising.

You can get involved in your child's education by volunteering as a classroom parent. Get connected with other parents and teachers, meet your child's classmates and get a better understanding of your child educational development. View their success story link at the bottom of the page on their site. You can request an invitation from their site if you want to join. Security and Member schools links are also useful.      I have used it and I recommend it to anyone who has kids.

Hello. I've been blogging for almost 2 years, but I am new to minti. Looking forward to getting to know people.

When I read the description "excitement and confusion" combined, I knew I should be here.

Well this is very new to me but thought it was worth a try if anyone has good advice for me, I have 5 children and my 16 yr old has a problem with telling the truth, you know the funny thing about it is he never really got in much trouble other then we were very disappointed in him and explained he did not want to live his life with no one believing him, very sad.  Now his grades have dropped and he tells me he has talked to the teacher when in actuality  he has not, and he knows we will find out, I am on the computer with his teachers all the time, he is so tender hearted and a good kid, his lying gets him down I know, just don't know what to do about it.  Here is what  we've tried, Grounding from friends all week if grades are c- or lower and can hang out on weekends this was hard for him at first but now it does not seem to mind, and as far as his lying I just tell him I don't believe him and would he tell me the truth but he holds strong and continues on, so really there has been no discipline for lying what do you do???

We have added the ability to have a partial or full RSS feed of your off-site blog appear in your Minti blog space.

Just take a look at the top of your personal Minti blog areae for the new option (in a green box) to add an external blog...

then enter your blog's RSS feed - choose Full text or Truncated text and submit.

To verify that you are the owner of the blog we ask that you enter some "code-words" into your external blog text in the next five days (a bit like confirming your blog ownership with Technorati only easier) and away you go :)

This is a great way to get more of your blog posts read by more people and to drive traffic to your own blog via the Minti membership base

So we've been busy. Really busy. Even though keeping up on Esmee's blog is a priority, i just have not been able to get to it for the last week or so. I actually feel really bad. What's even worse, and sorta funny, is the comments I am getting from family, coworkers, and friends who have become accustomed to checking Esmee's blog on a daily basis. They are actually giving me a hard time for not posting new photos and updating on Esmee's antics and shenanigans. They are actually making me feel guilty...

I only blog on minti but I would like to make my blog more interesting and also to learn to make it look more exciting!
