| Bright Ideas
After writing my advice about making inexpensive costumes, Meggles suggested it might be worth starting a group where we can keep adding ideas!
So if you have any ideas for kids costumes, birthday cakes, party games or anything that requires a bit of creativity and lateral thinking, this is the place to share it. Hopefully this will become a bit of an archive of all those crazy ideas and we can help each other to improve on our own ideas.

Your baby’s birthday is a very special occasion. Most of the time, it’s more of an event for mum and dad than it is for bub. No matter how big or small your celebration, it helps to think about it early. There is much less stress involved with some pre-planning.
There are a few things you need to decide on:
- Invitations
- The venue
- Food, drinks and the all important cake
- Decorations
- Party games and activities for all your guests
We’ve done some of the hard work for you. There is heaps of information on the Huggies site on party games, venue options, food and drink ideas, and so much more.
We have a great invitation facility, so you can quickly and easily create your own special invites. You can also print out birthday cards, gift tags, and lolly bag tags. Older children can get involved with the colour printing or colouring-in.
