J

Boy's name: Johannas
Girl's name: Jacquiline
Colour: Jet (a shade of black... mhm)
Animal: Jabiru (the thing that brings the babies in Australia LOL)
City/Country: Jizo-Zaki, Japan
Vegetable: Jardiniere (actually a garnish of vegetables, but still vegetable! LOL)
Fruit: Jujube
Singer/Band: Judas Priest (seems I'm still stuck on old heavy metal bands. LOL)
Favourite Word: Jabberwocki
Actor/Actress: Jimeoin (He doesn't seem to have a surname and he thinks he's an actor, well, he did make a movie that he tried to act in at least... I'm cynical, I know. There's a good reason for it though.)

Re: J for Jibberish

Jabiru is the only species of stork in Australia, and that joke just had to be made because of it.

The smart thing I did was to collect reference books so I could look up stuff like this. As for my sense of humour, I blame everyone else for making me this way. LOL

Re: J for Jibberish

interesting yes its a poem spelt Jabberwocky but if you have an i instead of a y at the end like DA has spelt it then it talks about a portable one

i couldnt do the link but  i just read the poem and all the comments associated with it. I also looked up the one spelt with an i . yu can actually buy a mug with the word on there.

Re: J for Jibberish

Please recite the poem Jabberwocky for us....even if its not a poem, lol!  But it is a poem by Lewis Carrol (I think?)....I remember it from English Lit. in my 3rd year uni.

Here  Jujube is a candi, I am sure its a fruit too...LOL!

What else can I say? Oh yes, your answers were a joyous read what a jewel you are...LOL!  Well you are!

Re: J for Jibberish

It is a poem by Lewis Carrol, from Through the Looking Glass. I can recite the first verse, I used to be able to recite the whole thing but can't remember it properly anymore. Here's a link to the words to it...

http://www.jabberwocky.com/carroll/jabber/jabberwocky.html

As for me spelling it with an i, that was a typo. To discover that it has an online dictionary definition, which I must say I believe it to be rather questionable, was a shock... especially considering the definition it gives! How typical though, I make a typo and it would end up being something like that! LMAO

But never the less, thanks to Lewis Carol, it is a word and it's in my dictionary. Hehehe.

Re: J for Jibberish

Is the Jabiru the painless way to have babies? LOL

I loved Jimeoin.  I think it was the accent.

Re: J for Jibberish

I once worked with him for a couple of days... but he is human and equally entitled to have as many personality traits that annoy me as everyone else does. LOL
