Mind you I always worked and never placed a bet... But my mum likes to place the odd bet, and I really don't know how she does it but she very often wins.. As great as that sounds... She never places enough money to actually win millions...  But with her luck I would have... :)

She always goes for horses where the jokeys don't use a strap (can't remember if that is the technical word for it) and if those horses have a number or a name that goes with something she knows well then she has a winner... But like I said she is in it for fun, and never bets enough to make millions. :)

just put our bets on, and friends are arriving shortly for a quiet little BBQ... it's freezing cold & threatening to rain, but will still be loads of fun! just glad i'm not a racing bunny down on the track freezing my butt off!
