Hi Darren, I am new to this site also, but I am glad I found it. I wanted to wish you luck with your situation, my husband has left me recently and we have a two month old, despite what he has done I think that it is important that the needs of the child are put first, I fear the day that he gets to take our child from me but equal custody is something I beleive in for the childs sake, they need both parents just as much no matter how the situation has come about, as adults we need to put our crap aside and give our children great love and the best life we can.

I hope it all works out well for you and keep fighting.
