Hi Bustedbling, I am a NQ mum as well and have relies in Ingham.  They are OK thankfully.  I agree with your sentiments - I wouldn't live anywhere else.  Although the rain does get a bit wearsome - the dog doesn't like it much either haha. but if there's one thing I've learnt in life is to be careful what you wish for.

Also, if there are any mums out there who have been through cancer and would like to chat about how their family coped.  I was diagnosed with Fallopian Tube Cancer in Jan 08 and had to stay in Brisbane for 6 months for treatment as it was not offered in NQ. I finished chemo in June and doing the 3 mth check up thing now - all is good so far. Can't wait for the 5 year clearance though.
