Dress + tom sauce

I am so sorry!!! I totally forgot about telling you the outcome of the dress. I used napisan and sard soap and it still didn't come out. The stain did lighten a few shades though Thanks for trying to help everyone xo

This is going to sound really odd, but have you tried using the Mamia brand of nappy wipes?  I've used them to get red wine out of the carpet before, and they have worked well.

I swear by the sard stick it did get the stain out of my angora jumper after being there for about three years after it happened I put it away in a plastic bag then wnted to wear it and Doh so as I said I tried and suceeded ( as Janice said a brooch would look great and in fashion to or you can glitter it to acsentuate it )

Good try Mel, it looks pretty good from here. Maybe it should have been done a bit earlier.

I swear by those two products, especially with the mess Steve can get into working outside and after his a sausage sandwich at golf on saturdays, half of it ends up  down the front of his shirt, grub!

If you haven't put any heat near the garment it might be worth another go soaking it in the Napisan over night, won't hurt.

Re: Dress + tom sauce

I think it may have been my fault Janice, I did leave it for a couple of days before trying it out. If it was done straight away I bet it would have worked! Plus It's now been in the dryer twice (doh) so I think this will be trial and error LOL An expensive trial and error but one nonetheless xoxo

Oops in the dryer yes sweet, that seems to set the stain in. Can't find a nice brooch or clip to pin onto the dress where the stain is?
