When God gives us character,  he chooses so well

The gift of caring he gave Janice wasn't random, I can tell

We start life believing that  everyone cares

Then are shocked to find some operate by setting snares

They suck us in and we meekly follow

Then once drawn in, we see empty words that are hollow

Fortunately,  along our Life Journey we meet rare treasures too

Shining so bright, those fab select few

My life, for instance,  was so dark, when I came here

Few friends that cared and wanted me near

Then I met Janice, that star that shone bright

Through her wisdom and care I found I could fight

Janice, you are one true friend to us all

If you ever need anything, just give us a call

Because there is no doubt

We'd respond to your shout

You're the epitome of goodness to us all

 sorry I didn't add to the poem I really suck at this sort of stuff, actually I woke last night at about 4am to go to the toilet and then couldn't go back to sleep so I stated thinking what I could write for the poem..  LOL

Minti connection, heart felt friend

You is suck with me to the end

Nature buddy,  truest friend

When I first came to minti I felt lost,

A light shone bright and there you were.

A guardian angel with her wings spread out,

To ease any worries that would occur. (Mel)

What can I say that hasn't already been said,
Sitting here, scratching away at my head.
A lady of grace and virtue, too true,
A lady of comfort, friends, and love, yes Janice, YOU.
No matter how far away you maybe,
You are always close to our hearts and always will be.
Your wisdom and strength give us more to carry on
Your advice and comfort opens doors for others to move along.
Never doubt how much we care,
Because in our hearts, you are always there.
I celebrate the friend you are,

Not actually a poem, more a song, did write my own poem, but Michael got up in arms because it didn't rhyme, and after that I had serious writers block!

 SNEAKY by far, Mel!

 I am touched by your thoughtfulness  and what you wrote. Does  remind me of those, that made me feel the same when I  first joined Minti.

And those friends, like yourself Mel that make it a sheer pleasure to log onto Minti each day.

A dear friend told me to  take  something with me that I treasured to think of happy thoughts, for which I have already picked out a couple of things...I would feel very honoured to take with me thoughts from my friends.

While many will be enjoying Melbourne Cup Day, I will be otherwise occupied, Haa Haa!
