cheapest and best ways for cleaning that are helthier for your children and are not harsh chemicals are vinegar and methylated spirits
vinegar can be diluted in a spray bottle with water or used direct. i put it in my steamer to steam and clean my floor it cleans the tiles and a tiler actually recommended it to me. i also have been told by other older cirxle of friends that use it for the toilet.
methylated spirits i use for mirrors and glass and wipe with a newspaper afetr to get a perfect clean affect.
i also clean down my kitchen sink with it it cleans the stainless steel and disinfects at the same time. put a little on an old rag. best results are old white t shirts or singlets.

OK, so don't lauch, but I bought this cleaner from a door to door salesman, and haven't been disapointed. You diltute it and but it in a spray bottle and it truly cleans just about everything, and it's safe around pets and kids!! It was a little pricey at $35, but I just weighed in what I would normally spend throughtout the year on cleaners, and this one is all purpose!! If you google it, the website will come up..We purchased it in Apple and it was worth it..Just wanted to share!! |

Hey Guys!
Okay, Libby24 and I have finally set a date and time for this presentation thing. It will be at my house (I'm in Kelmscott), on Thurs 27th March (this Thurs) at 10am. If there is anyone else who is interested in seeing a presentation on the tea-tree products I use, just let me know, as I will need to know numbers beforehand. You will not be required to buy anything - it's information only. I already have a few people coming, and just want to see if anyone else is interested

Hi Guys!
I got a few responses asking about the tea-tree products I use around my home (see my blog for more info) and so Libby24 and I are going to host a presentation on the products. We have yet to decide on a date and time, but was wondering how many people here in Perth would be interested in coming to have a look. You can either reply to this blog or Mintimail one of us privately, and let us know if there are any days that you are unavailable.
Cheers,
Pia
(this will be our first so please bear with us - we will be VERY nervous) |

mix white vinegar and water in a spray bottle.Use it to clean shower screens and basins etc. It works wonders especially if therre is alot calcium in your water supply |

To keep cork floors in great condiditon and shining....once a month before you mop, put some methylated spirits into the water. Works wonders, shiny cork floors again.

Hiya, I just bought a kitchen aid baking dish and because i have little cupboard space I put it in the oven. Thinking to myself that i'm the only one who uses the oven, so it won't get wrecked because the plastic is still on.
Until today when hubby decided to help with lunch while I was ironing. So he turns the oven on to heat up some pies without me knowing, so I would finish the job ( so he didn't have to do it, because i will be away this week).
I finish the ironing then walk into the kitchen and smell the melting plastic. I flipped, my $50 baking dish now has hard melted plastic all over it. We tried our best to pull the plastic off while still warm, however, there is still clear hardened plastic around the edges and over the handles.
Does anyone know the best way to get it off without scratching off the enamel? Any help, or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Tracey xx

I'm 8 months pregnant, so certain cleaning tasks are no longer easy to do. Do you have any suggestions for an easy way to clean my shower curtain? It's full of mildew and I'm getting disgusted.

A way to keep your foreman grill or other brand grillers alot cleaner. When placing what ever your cooking into the grill, place a piece of baking paper on the bottom and also a piece on top before closing the griller, your meat will cook and taste the same but when you remove the meat you will have a clean griller. Found this works and i don't have to spend quite alot of time trying to keep my griller clean as the baking paper works wonders.

I like to use those ambipur plug in smelly things but I find the replacement bottles expensive .I buy a bottle of fragrant oil from a discount store (we have warehouse and crazy clarks here so i get them from there usually for a 50 ml bottle for about $3.00 ) and I refill the bottles just pull out the cork bit and fill ,with your favourite fragrance and you have a loverly fresh smelling home. |
