Born in 1991

My daughter (known online only as K) is growing up so fast.  I can't believe I have less than 18 months of being her parent left before she is free ..lol.

She is such a great kid.  I honestly wouldn't know what I would have done without her.  She has helped me so much with her two siblings (both with ASD and ADD) and my own Bipolar. 

Her new wish is to move to Melbourne then to New York.  I'm happy for her that she is going to experience all the great stuff that  comes of being a young adult.  I'm hope the next 17 months doesn't move too fast.

I still picture her as the newborn in my arms.

Well my son was 16 in March and is in a big rush to grow up. He has got his L plates and a car which he is working on all the time with his uncle. He also got himself an apprentiship as a brick layer so he is no longer a child to me. He has become a young man and quite a responsible one at that so I am quite a proud mum, he is fairly bossy towards his brothers but I guess that comes with being the big brother. This is him with his basketball which is his favourite sport. This weekend was there finals in basketball but the team lost by 3 points but it was a great game.

So, for all you parents of the ones about to turn the big 16, how is life going for you so far?

My daughter is in no hurry to grow up so to speak. 

Now, do all teens have the deer in the headlight look from time to time?

Any of them thinking about college yet?

Attitude changes galore?

I just don't remember behaving like my daughter when I was her age, were we that bad?

All these questions and more.
