My daughter is 15 and has strugged with anxiety and depression for years.  It is mostly focused around school but at this point she is pretty miserable all the time.  She has a therapist, we've tried medications, nothing really seems to work.  I'm sad and scared for her.  I would love to hear from parents of other teens who have gone through this, and might be able to offer some suggestions.

On behalf of the Shel Silverstein estate, we'd like to present Underwater Land. 

Underwater Land is a kid’s music project created by Shel Silverstein.  This project was Shel’s final major music project and also his final children’s recording.  Shel wrote Underwater Land, produced it, travelled to Nashville in 1997 to handpick the best musicians and studios there, and sings on several tracks with the primary singer and old friend Pat Dailey.  Kim Llewellyn, Shel’s longtime graphic designer, designed the lovely 32-page liner notes which features many previously unpublished Silverstein illustrations and all the song lyrics and verse.

We’ve recently launched a new website in hopes of bringing this exciting, and virtually unreleased and unannounced, major new work to the millions of Silverstein fans around the world.  As we gear up to full scale advertising in the coming months, we’re moving forward with a grass roots campaign meant to bring this exciting news directly to individuals who are most likely to understand and appreciate the importance of this project.
