It's getting very hot where I am and I just want to remind people to be careful before putting the little ones in the carseat because it may be very very hot! So touch it first... you may have to cool down thar car while standing right outside of it.

It's VERY hot where I live, supposed to be over 100 today!

I was at a Right Start store a few years ago and saw they make little reflective covers for car seats.........similar looking to those little things you put in your window to keep the sun out? But they are elastisized to cover a car seat. NEAT! Unfortunately, they don't have that store here anymore, but if anyone else has one, you might look for it. For now, we have our windows tinted and use a towel to cover up.

Thanks for the reminder. It made me remember with the older girls I would cover their sets with a beach towel to keep the buckle from getting so hot.

I'm going to go put out a towel for tomorrows car tip. It is hot is S.C.
