Kids II is voluntarily recalling the Baby Einstein Baby Neptune™ Soothing Seascape crib toy (Model: 30858) in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission because the anchors that hold the crib straps to the back of the turtle can break, producing a choking hazard from small parts. The recall only applies to units manufactured in October 2007, which are identified by the date code BJ7. The date code can be found on the battery cover located on the back of the turtle. The recalled crib toys were sold in the U.S. only.
Consumers should discontinue use of this product immediately. Please choose from the following options:

I have this one but not the same date code they have recalled. But in checking out whether I have the one that is being recalled, I found that mine is broken in the same way. So I called the number. They will have mine picked up in order to investigate and give me a refund for it. It's an easy process, so please check yours out!
