Well the last day of March...can you believe it, it's gone so fast.  I thought time when fast after I had Haylee but it's going even faster after Kaitlin (if you can believe that).

Hubby came home early from work today because he's sick (poor baby - can you hear the sarcasum) and I had to ring to make an appointment at the doctors for him, how many kids do I have?

Haylee had a great day at school today, she just loves going and I'm glad.  I hated school when I went so I didn't really apply myself to anything.  I didn't have many friends, must have been because I told things as it was and they didn't like it.  Oh well, at least Haylee likes it so far.

Kaitlin didn't sleep much today, I don't know whether it was because there was more noise than usual with hubby home or that she's not feeling well.  She hasn't got a temp but has a bit of a cough and a runny nose, that makes for a good night for me.  Don't you just love sick babies?  Haylee was never sick as a baby but then again, she didn't have an older sister to bring home all the bugs.  It should boost Kaitlins immune system a little.

I didn't get any of Haylee's x-stitch done today, will hopefully be able to do some tonight before bed.

I've been thinking about work as hubby and I have been discussing purchasing a larger house.  We've talked about renting this one out but that would mean that I'd have to go back to work, hopefully not full time however  I don't think we'll make a decision until we talk to the bank about it.  It's a big step and with the interest rates the way they are, who knows.

Time to get Haylee off to bed.

Well, swimming went well and I think Kaitlin enjoyed it however she was hungry by the time we got home.  As I suspected, Haylee decided to go with my parents and I won't see her again till tomorrow sometime.  I shouldn't complain, it is nice for Haylee as I knows she desperately misses spending time with them.

David is well and truly into the "I'm sick and it's the end of the earth" mode, is it just my husband or are all males the same?  Anyway, he finally dragged himself out of bed (can you believe it, he went to bed when he got home) and has now made himself something for dinner.

I'll tell you, what's the saying "a mothers work is never done" and isn't it the truth.  I had the flu a couple of weeks ago and I still had to do everything that needed doing and not only that, David didn't do anything out of the ordinary even though he knew I was sick!!!!  Men are so frustrating.

Now that I've had my whinge, I'm going to start making something for dinner for ME!!!!!

Well, it has been quite a morning already (in the good sense).  Haylee slept till 6.30, David went to work at 7 and Kaitlin decided it was time to wake shortly after.

I had a little sleep in and only had to get up to Kaitlin once this morning at around 3.30 and then I didn't hear her again until I was up, that made for a nice change.

We're off to swimming lessons for Haylee today and because David is working then Kaitlin will have to come with us.  My parents decided that they wanted to come as well, so it will be a little bit of a family adventure.  Haylee will probably decide that she wants to stay at their house as appears to be the norm for a Saturday night now that she's at school.  I know my parents love it because they don't see her as often as they used to and I think they still find it hard.

Appart from swimming, not much else on the agenda, if Haylee goes to grandma's this afternoon then maybe I can start her cross-stitch, it's going to be hard to keep it from her because she knows everything that's going on in this house.

Well, TGIF......what a week it has been.

I'm glad the week is over (even though I am SAHM), with the girls both being sick and now DH coming down with it (and he's worse than a child) I think I deserve a weekend as I'm sure everyone else does as well.

I managed to finish my cross-stitch, it has only taken me at least 8 months if not more.  Now it's time to start on Haylee's giraffe one hopefully in time to get it framed for her birthday in August.  She just loves giraffes and when we visited Western Plains Zoo she had the oportunity to feed one and she loved it.

Well, time to start dinner so I'll say chao for now.

What a terrible night last night.  I think I got about 4 hours sleep. 

Kaitlin woke up crying last night at about 8.30 and she had a temp of 39.5C, luckily my GP is attached to an after hours service so a doctor came at 10.30 and Kaitlin has swollen tonsils (no pus thankfully) and a virus.  After giving her something to drink and some Panadol, she finally when back to sleep at 11 only to wake me numerous times during the night.

I'm not complaining as I feel a little bit guilty that I didn't realise that she was sick.  Haylee had a high temp on Tuesday and obviously passed the virus on to Kaitlin (as will happen).  Thankfully Kaitlin's temp has come down but she's very tired as am I.

David got up and went to work at 6 and I didn't even hear him.  I feel sorry for him as he didn't get much sleep last night either, when you have a sick child everyone suffers.  Luckily Haylee spent the night at Grandma's so she at least got a good night sleep.  Haylee has developed a cough but hopefully she'll get over that soon.

I'm hoping to have a sleep today but I find it very difficult to sleep during the day, I can only hope.

Hopefully the day will improve!!!

I'm back from my Weight Watchers meeting and feeling all inspired and motivated again.

I lost 0.9kg this week and that is amazing considering there was chocolate in the house, being easter and all.

Haylee was so happy to go back to school today and the teachers missed her.  She's feeling a lot better today and her temp is almost back to normal but she has a bit of a cough now.

Time for Kaitlin's nap and then I'm going to sit down and relax today with my magazines, I think I've earned it.

Well, it's Wednesday morning and the ususal Wednesday ritual begins. 

Haylee decides to sleep to 7am but unfortunately Kaitlin decided that 5.30 was a good time to start talking to herself in her cot.  I suppose it could be worse and she could be crying.  It at least gave me a chance to have a shower before feeding her so I'm at least clean.

Weight Watchers this morning to see what damage has been done over Easter but what ever it is, I enjoyed my eggs.  Hopefully the damage is minimal.

I found video footage of Haylee when she was 3 1/2 mths old and she had such a chubby round face.  Kaitlin and Haylee really look alike but Haylee was heaps chubbier that Kaitlin and Kaitlin certainly weighs more than Haylee at the same age.

DH headed off to work early, he has a lot to do before end of month and unfortunately that means he'll be home late most of the week.

Oh well, time to do Haylee's lunch and get Kaitlin's formula sorted for our outing.

Well, as I expected Haylee was up at the crack of dawn to hunt for her easter eggs.  Kaitlin was still asleep, that is until Haylee squealed with delight at her new t-shirt and my little pony pillow that the "easter bunny" left.

We had breakfast at mum and dad's unfortunately Brian was racing his remote control car but Jennylee was there.  Mum and Dad gave Kaitlin and Haylee money instead of an egg and Jennylee, thankfully, only gave the girls one each.

We spent a lovely day there and eating way too much food, I'd be amazed if I stayed the same when I weigh in at Weight Watchers on Wednesday but I just figured, it's only once a year.  I don't think that I'll need dinner tonight.

Everyone managed to catch a nap this afternoon and it makes for a more enjoyable evening.  Well, Easter will be over for another year and I managed to survive it.

It has been a quiet day today.  Haylee was over with my parents, they miss her now that she goes to school.  She spent the night last night but didn't want to stay tonight otherwise she might miss the easter bunny (not likely).  David's been making easter chocolates, like I need them in the house.

I was supposed to get a sleep-in today but the light in the loungeroom blew the electricity so David had to fix that and that was at 6.30.  I did manage to catch a two hour nap while Kaitlin was sleeping, yeah!!!

Peace and quiet now shattered as Haylee has arrived home, Kaitlin missed her because she has been nothing but smiles since she saw Haylee. 

  This is the first time I've used this site, I read about it in a magazine and thought I'd check it out.  It seems to have a lot of useful informaiton by the people who would know, parents.

I am currently trying to lose the excess weight that I put on during my last pregnancy (25kg) to be precise and so far I have lost 11.9kg due to Weight Watchers.  I'm trying to show my beautiful two girls how to be healthy, so they don't have the same weight issues I did after I met my husband.

Haylee started school this year and although I knew she was ready, I wasn't sure if I was but I surprised myself when I didn't shed a tear her first day.  She has now been at school for 7 weeks and she absolutely loves it (I'm glad she does because I didn't).  I have really learn't just how clever my little monster is and if Haylee is anything to go by then Kaitlin will be the same.
