Today I went to watch my 3 kidz run in the cross country, they are in kindi, year 1 and year 6, I was so proud of them as I am always telling them that it is about having fun and winning does not matter.  Anyway they really enjoyed themselves and gave their best and Autumn came 2nd so she goes to zone for the under 13 girls, Slade came 5th, awesome for someone who has asthma and Cree came 3rd.  The best thing about it all is that they were happy just to finish.  There were alot of kidz there that shed tears over not winning etc, it is so important for us as parents to teach our children that winning is not everything, its about having fun and being thankful that they can do  these things.
