Yay!!! I'm so excited, I can't wait to see him.  I know he hasnt been gone all that long, but it feels like forever.  His plane doesn't get in until 11pm so I have all day tomorrow to wait.  But I have some things to take care of during the day before he gets home.  I also have to get some pictures developed for his arrival but that is on tonights agenda.  Anyway, off to finish the laundry!!

I'm just curious what other wives do who have travelling husbands when their husband is away on special occasions.  Today is our wedding anniversary and I really didn't know what to do with myself so i just carried on as if it was any other day.  I certainly don't want to sit around and cry about it,  but i would like to find some other way to honour our special day (or any other special days that he will miss).  So...all you wives out there that are in my boat, please...I need to hear from you...what do you do?

Wow, Hubby has been gone about a week now, and I actually miss him LOL.  I think its worse because I still live in Canada and there is nobody here who knows anything about Military life, or being a military wife, which I am now officially.  Hubby will be back next week, but only for a couple of weeks, then gone again for 6 months.  At least I'm doing well at being independant and taking care of Mr Aidan all by myself.  But I still miss him, and now that he's gone I seem to get on here even less because Aidan loves to bang on the keyboard so I have to keep computer room closed at all times.  Oh well, I am a survivor, I'm sure I can get through this.  As I will next time and the next time, and the times after that.
