I''''m originally from the Philippines but have been living in 3 different countries for the past 8 years (Thailand, Viet Nam and now, Spain). I met my husband in Bangkok in 1998 during a 3-year teaching stint and we''ve been together since then (2 years married, 8 years together) We''re expecting a little boy to join our family (me, my husband, and dog, Thomas), in August on a beautiful summer''s day. Call me a bit naive, but I never really thought pregnancy (or the coming of a baby boy) would turn my life up side down and inside out. Despite all the changes though, I''m enjoying pregnancy a lot. And just making the most of ordering my husband around ("I''m pregnant, I can''''t do it sweetheart. Why dont you cook me dinner tonight? etc.") while it lasts. Both my parents have passed on and in a way, I feel like it''''s a bit unfair for me not to have a mother/father to ask questions regarding pregnancy or being a parent. But it''''s not all a lost cause. I am lucky enough to have in-laws who I get along with. And now, I''''ve got Minti to ask advice from. Who hoo! |

I wanted to buy a diaper bag at the local Friday market today but just couldn’t decide what to get.
First of all, I don’t want a huge [...] |

This post is from from my other blog here I’ve been thinking about some birth announcement ideas and I’ve come up with the following. Anyone who has any more unique suggestions, please add your comments.
1) Photo Card: I personally love photo card announcements. I’m not much for numbers so just looking at a piece of paper with information [...] |

This post is from from my other blog here I’m now on my 29th week of pregnancy.
I feel tired, heavy and bloated.
Joel cooked my favorite roast chicken last night and I couldn’t finish it. Halfway through my meal, I slowly felt my stomache getting taut and breathing becoming more difficult.
I had eaten more than I should have (again) and I knew I was in [...] |

This post is from from my other blog here I know that many women prefer to have a natural vaginal birth. I don’t. Why?Because I’m bloody scared.
I don’t think it’s the pain I’m scared about. It’s not knowing how much it’s going to hurt that scares me.
So if I had a choice, I’d go for a c-section anytime. But I don’t [...] |
