I haven't blogged for along time, so I thought I had better do an update on what H has been doing.    Well he has come along in leaps and bounds in the last couple of months...  It is hard to beleive that he will be 2 next month.

At the moment H loves to read numbers and letters, everytime we take him out for a walk we we have to stop at every letterbox and read the number and letters.   He will also stop at just about every car and try to read the number plates.  It makes for a very long walk LOL

It is funny 'cause you will think he doesn't know a letter and then suddenly oneday he will point to a letter and say it.   for example we were at the park and on some of the equipment was some writing.   H started to say Pee and when we looked  he was pointing to the letter P he had never said that too us b4. 

We have also started to potty train him.   Awhile ago when H was 18mths my neighbour said that she started to put her son on the potty after meals so I thought I would but really I was just slack at doing it and thought he was too young.  Couple of months ago I was speaking to one of the mothers at mothers group who said that she puts her son on the potty b4 he has a bath.   So we thought this was a great idea as he was always weeing in the bath.  Now we put him on the potty b4 bath and he does wees in it and gets so excited that he forgets to finish off the wee, he just jumps up to look at it and screams wee.  So we are encouraging him to either get back on the potty and finish the wee or to just stay on the potty untill it is all finised. 

This week has been going really good with the training as I put him on the potty after all meals and b4 and after nap time.  We went for a walk this morning and b4 we left I found him sitting on the potty so I took his nappy off and he used it.   It is a start and we are hoping that he will be toilet trained b4 we go away in July.    I'm not really sure about this but you never know.

Mothers day was ok.  I didn't actually get a hand made pressie from H but what I got was a lagane dish, that I have been wanting.  We went to the caravan and camping show then off to my mum and dads for lunch.  

Thats about it....  now for some updated photos..

I'm a bit slack at writing this blog but on Thursday we had a Minti Meet and it went really well.    I was a bit nervous and excitied about meeting the girls and worried that I would be late so I got to the meeting place about 10min early LOL.    Some of the mums were late, that was ok 'casue I texted one of them to find out what was going on.  

We had a really good time we went to a park and the kids played while we just chatted, for hours.   Everyone was really nice & friendly like we had know each other for a long time.  LOL  The kids were so gorgeous and well behaved,  My H slept for most of the time LOL.

I met up with Nat (winja),  Angela (HarrisonsMommy), Annie (anniebabe) and Tee (Amerlinwinga).   I would do it all again if some of us didn't live so far away!

Damn Computer going to try again.  We have just spent a lovely week away.  It was really nice to just get away from home and H was so good and survived on not much sleep only naping about an hour or so in the car.

On the way up we saw the recent fires near Yea.

We went up mt Bulla on the chair lift and cut across to Mt Stirling 4x4

When we got to Mt Stirling we saw Craigs Hut which is from the move The Man From Snowy River

We went to Mansfield zoo and fed some animals

Then on to Bright 4x4 and we finally arrived at the caravan park

We went to a hedge maze and to an emu and deer farm.  We fed some more animals and bought some emu and deer to eat.

We went up Mt Buffalo.  It was raining on and off but enough to dampen our spirits (parden the pun)

We went to a Salmon and Trout farm where we caught some Salmon for dinner.  I didn't eat it but My partner and H loved it.  We also fed the fish

We went to a lookout overlooking bright and then today we came home via the freeway and saw some of the Keynton Fires

We had a great time and would do it all again in a flash if we didn't have so many commitments.........
