The other day I was a bad mummy and I forgot to take teddy to child care, so that ment bubs couldn't go to sleep and didn't go to sleep very well.  Oops!!!

Wednesday  I realised that it was my girlfriends birthday today.  I've known her for over 30years.  I haven't a clue what to get her for a pressy, she has just about everything.  The other thing is we had her and her partner over for afternoon tea on the W/end and I didn't mention the birthday at all.  She rang me last night and I forgot to say anything.  I will ring her today, and try and find a pressie over the w/end.   thats another oops I forgot....... 

Well on a better note, I think, I have started back at work.  I will be doing afternoon shift Monday and Tuesday and a day every 2nd w/end.  It is like I have never had time off.  Nothing has changed just a few new faces, but at our work we get that all the time.  Staff were coming up to me on the first day saying do you know where to find this and that LOL.  I would say yeah it's just over there LOL (and it was).  Nothing has changed!!  Every thing is sorted out from the other day and the boss admitted it was her fault He he he he he, so she has to now fix the roster up, that will keep her busy.  So a public Holiday on Monday and I have to go back to work.  I just keep thinking of the money I will be earning.

Argh its so annoying when you forget their comfort toy. Dont worry I think forgetfulness is part of motherhood.. as long as you dont forget bubs your doing ok! Glad stuff at work has sorted out, and youve fitted straight back in. Sounds like youve made an excellent transition. Em x

Yep on the oops! I forgot to take grubs pillow one time and holy moly! Those poor ladies, nothing they could do would please him.

Hope you're enjoying work, it's nice to have a little time around adults and feel that you are still human and not just mummy sometimes!

The ladies did have a hard time of it, but they found another teddy, but hey it's just not the same is it?

Enjoying work?  Hmmm same old, same old, yes it is nice to be back among adult company for a change.

Wow alot of oopie's!! LOL I bet bub was glad to see teddy when he came home!

I'm sure your friend will understand. I have known one of my best friends for about 15 years and every year i have to try to remember which month her b'day is, i know the date, but i always confuse the months. The worst part is, is that it is exactly 1 week after my sister's.. And it STILL forget LOL

I'm glad that you got your work sorted out your roster. Hope next week goes a little smoother for you. Isn't it funny that nothing has changed. You would think after 7 (?) months of you being away, that you would notice something different!!

I think he was glad that night, I wan't very popular that day!

My friend is a very understanding person but me being me since I have known her for so Iong I just feel a little guilty.  It is hard to try and remember everyone.  We have a birthday every month in my family and that is exculdes friends so yeah hard to remember everyone.

nearly, it has been about 9mths since I was at work, and not much changed.  Back in to the swing of things pretty quick.

Oop's forgetting Teddy....oh gee Mum, a wrap over the knuckles for that....hehe! Glad to hear that things were sorted out at work for you....it sure was a mix up the other day.  Good way to think money, when you have to work on a public holiday.
