I have been sick this week I have been in hospital since Tuesday. On Sunday I ate dinner then felt sick Monday morning I thew up twice and then in the afternoon every 2 hours untill 11am the next day. I rang my Dr who sent me off to the hospital. Finally they diagonased me with Hyperthyroidism. My pulse was up to 120 so now I am on all sorts of tables to control my pulse and my thyroid. I am so glad that I am now out of the hospital and I had a scan with some die stuff and now I can't touch Bubs for 24hrs mum is minding bubs today and my sister looked after him yesterday. My partner also took some time off work. It was so hartbreaking not seeing my son. He was bought in to the hospital but he didn't want to be with me, was probably scared and I don't blame him. So now I just have to get better and will probably be on the tabs for at least 2 years. I have to keep having blood tests and going for appts with the thyroid people.

So if you were all (probably nobody) wondering why I hadn't been on Minti well that is why. Happy Mother's day to you all on Sunday..

Hospitals are not the easiest places to be in, or find where you are going. At least you have answers and a plan or attack so hopefully, you won't get sick like that again.

that dye they use is pretty radioactive, so your poor little man is just going to have to go without mummy for a few days, and you without him (put your feet up and rest!!!!!!).

Hey Angie sorry to hear that you have been sick. Pretty scary having to go to hospital. I feel for you for not being able to touch your baby, you have been away from him for awhile, he will be glad to get home and give you a cuddle to make you all better!

I was so sick that I couldn't care less what happened, all I thought about was my family.

Lots of cuddles all round when i could. We all loved it.

Hey Hun, I have been wondering where you were but just thought maybe they had upped your hours at work.

Thats no good, hope the medication keeps it under control. I remember how hard it was when I had my cat scan done with the dye & couldnt go near Lexi,it nearly killed me,as soon as the 24 hours were up I hugged her so much.

Oh no I couldn't pick up hours at work, too heavy and busy and makes be tired...

The meds should kick in soon and hopefully they will work.

Yes very hard when you are away from your family, couldn't stop thinking about them but like you as soon as i could lots of cuddles.

As for mother's day I will enjoy now I don't have to work

Ang, that is heartbreaking that you can't touch your baby. Please get better very soon! Of course you would have been missed! I come on when I can but there are so many people to catch up with that it is hard to know who is away or not! Hope you feel better real soon! Lynette xx
