Today bubs was in the kitchen playing with a t - Towel. I look around and saw something red on his foot. I screamed at my partner to get it or take a look, he did. Low and behold there was a small flesh wound/cut. How we don't know.

We cleaned it up and put detol on it and a bandaid. It didn't worry bubs until the detol went on! Ouch poor baby.

Hey Cass,

Thanks for the comment, he has survived which is good. It was hard to stop the blood at first but with a little pressure and a bandaid it worked.

Oh and yes you might cry, I nearly did LOL

We think it was a loose bit of cotton that got wound round his foot.

aww, poor little fella. Detol does sting like a sod, that's why ya supposed to dilute it, but even then it still stings a bit. Betadine is better, doesn't sting so bad. At least you're better than my mum, she used alcohol swabs! Yeowchy!

Next time we will use diluted detol, but in this case we didn't really think and wanted to clean it up fast!

Alcohol swabs really sting!
