My MIL lives in the Country so my SIL went to pick her up. She stayed at my SILs place. Anyway yesterday we went and picked her up (40 min away) and she stayed the day with us as my SIL and family went to the footy.
We had a good time, by the time we got home it was lunch time so we had luch and didn't do much else.
That night we went out to a Pub for dinner as it was my BIL 40th bithday. (my partners younger brother) He didn't know that we were going and so got a big surprize to see us all there.
We got a babysitter for the night but it wasn't a late one as we were both buggered by 10pm. LOL. Had a dinner a couple of drinks and cake etc.. then came home.
really showing our age here as by the time we were all leaving all the youngsters were showing up and we had clearly had enough and couldn't cope.
My MIL went home with my SIL and she will drive her home today.
Bubs behaved himself and 'cause he had a late sleep didn't really want to go to sleep, but generally he behaved himself, and once alseep didn't hear a peep from him.
This morning a different matter as he was grizzly by 5am and put back to sleep but by 6am he started crying so we put him in our bed and then he still wouldn't settle so at 6.40am I had to get him up and feed him.
It is going to be a very long day and I can see that I am going to need a Nanna Nap!
BTW we had a really good night and I got to wear my new pair of jean that I paid a fortune for and then had to get half the leg cut off as I am a short a**e! |
