My neice rang me the other day, she is only 12, asked me if I would mind taping a movie on foxtel for her.

I said of course I would and I would write a big note and not forget!  Well, well, well, I did forget and I am dreading telling her, she will be so disapointed.

I have tried to see if I can get it on DVD and no luck.  The only one that I did find comes from Canada and that is not compatible with Australian DVDs.

I'm thinking of telling her the video broke, But then again that's not right.

Ooops!  Foxtel does have a record function direct to your card or thingy that holds data on it.  When you have some time, sit down with the remote and learn what all the buttons are.  Then you can write an advice piece on what each button actually is! lol.

I'm sure you will have sorted this all out by now.

ahhhhh. silly me. just re read ur blog.... FOXTEL... what is 1 thing Foxtel does.... repeats. and sh** loads of them (the reason why we disconnected it) look online or in ur mag to see when it is on again.

what was the movie? go to www.mininova.org and type it in there and down load u torrent or azura to download or even try limewire.

All good found it on mininova and will try and download everything tomorrow and put it on DVD

Too late and I'm too tired to try now.  Thanks for your help appricate it heaps  *MUWAH!!!!!*

Oh bless you, it always seems worse when it is a child, however we are all Human so please dont be too hard on yourself. Do you remember the film? maybe we could all help you hunt down an aussie version? Keep your chin up if you can.

Thanks Winnie the movie was called Eloise in the plaza. 

So hopefully I can do something about it.  I will try Liz's suggestion
