Mother is not happy

Fed (bottle) bubs at 6am when he woke up tried to put him back to sleep no luck dirty nappy.  Breakfast at 7.15 or there abouts.  The same thing rice cereal with a bit of vitabrits and fruit.  This time banana.  Bubs liked banana when we first gave it to him havn't had it for a while as it is constipating,   He hated his breakfast wouldn't have a bar of it, I tried everything.  So I then made up some more without fruit.  No luck by this time he is crying.  What could I have done but give in??

I cracked it took him out of the highchair gave him more bottle, by this time it is after 8am.  He didn't want much and cried then I tried to put him back to bed.  He cried and cried so I got him up he had a big burb the rest of his bottle and then I tried bed again.  No luck he cried.  I am now thinking I hope I don't have a day like yesterday with him doing nothing but crying and whinging all day.  I got him out of bed.  I am fuming by this time.

I take him downstairs put him on the floor with some toys and turn the telly on.  He is happily playing and watching postman pat. AHHH so the baby one out in the end that is one point for the baby LOL.

Are you ready? I know you just can't wait to know 6 random quirky things about ...

1.  I can be very impatient. -  with almost all things, usually I wonted things done yesterday.

2. My pet hate is... people who don't indicate when driving, this really gets up my nose. Especally when changing lanes.

3.  I grew up on a farm..   More of a hobby farm really, I owned a horse called Jeffery, we also had sheep, goats and chickens.

4. Love daggy music...  What I call daggy music anyway.  Rod Stewart, Egales, Abba to name a few, I can put it on loud and dance myself silly

5.  I have lived OS...   I lived in London for 2.5 years and travelled  most of Europe etc...  I was woking in London, looking after the elderly in there own home.

6.  I can touch my nose with my tounge...  LOL  yes I can most can't but, I do have a very long tounge.

7. I have 2 tattoos...  1. Is on my shoulder blade of a gecko.  2. on my ankle, like and anklet that has a feather that runs down the left side.  ( hard to discribe)

8.  I hate eating mince..  I once saw a documentary (American) on how people were getting sick and dying from eating mince.  The mincers in butchers etc.. were not being cleaned properly and to this day I still can not eat it that was 10years ago or so...  My partner says lets my some mince and I say can u absolutly grantee me that it is all good.  He says no.. so I don't buy it.   I try but I just can't.

Well, we have a routine when bubs goes to bed the 3 B's bath, bottle, and bed.  Roller over feed at 10.30pm and then he usually doesn't wake untill 5 or 6am.  I can put him back to sleep at 5 but at 6 I usually feed him. 

Yesterday we went to my sisters for lunch and bubs was very good stuck to the routine we have had going for a couple of weeks now.  Anyway last night we did the 3 B's and he was in bed by 7.15pm.  He woke around 9ish and I put him back to sleep. (quickly put dummy in mouth and give teddy, usually straighten him up as he ends up at the bottom of the cot)  My partner gave him bottle at 10.30pm as always.  Both of us were in bed by 11pm.

At 12.30 the fun begain.  He woke I ran in dummy, teddy etc...  go back to bed don't sleep 1am he is up again so this time I think he may be hot undo the sleeping bag.  Dummy, teddy, etc.. back to bed don't sleep.  1.15 up again this time my partner gets up and so do i we think it may be his bowels or burping so do the leg up to the stomach thing and bed, teddy etc.. then we go back to bed.  Don't sleep up again 15min later, more leg work and try to burp him no luck,  I give him some medicine for his bowels.  Back to bed don't sleep.  My partner gets up and takes the sleeping bag off.  Back to bed don't sleep, then up again I put a blanket on him.  Back to bed don't sleep.  Up again this time I feed him a little bit of bottle.   Finally he goes back to bed and we all sleep hooray.  By this time it is nearly 3am.  

He slept until 6am where I fed him again.  Back to bed until 7.30am, we both got up, bubs and I and he had brecky.  I will go back to bed when he does in about 1/2 hour.

I have no idea why he did this, he never gets up for a feed in the night anymore, I thought we had got rid of this.  Must be going through a growth spurt.  LOL  We think maybe teeth but have no real signs yet.   Oh well...........

To keep there mouths shut!!   ARGHHHH!!!!

Tdoay I was out and about.  I was in Target looking at kids clothes, when two middle aged or a bit older ladies came up to me and started ohing and ahing about my baby.  I was asked how old he was, 6mth I said,  and one said to him ooohhhh I bet your hungry you look undeweight.  I ignored the comment while the other one continued talking to me and showing me a photo of her grandson.  

Now the comment really irritated me but hey, I will get over it as I know myself that he eats, drinks, and is growing and putting on weight.  He may not eat as much as some babies ( I know this cause of my mothers group) but that dosn't matter. 

I just wonder when will people learn to keep there bloody mouths shut?????

Well we live in a town house on a block with 3 townhouses ( including us)...  Anyway today I went over to one of the neighbours and asked if she could move her car blah blah blah long story, we got talking and I said to her that I nearly rang her last night and asked where  the diaquiri and pizza were LOL (she make really good diaquiris made them for us on NYE) this is what they looked like. I was just joking of course!

She said righto I'll make them and come over shall I?   I didn't say no LOL  so over she came with her 2 boys.  We were having a lovely time drinking them and chatting and when we had finished and decided to get on to the wine, there was a knock on the door and it was the lady from the other town house.  We invited her in and asked if she would like to partake in a glass of wine, she jumped at the chance.  So one drink turned in to more.  Another knock at the door at it was the husband of one of the ladies so in he comes with his own beer.  The semi party was on and was very unexpected but welcomed.   We started about 4.30 and the last of the neighbours left at 6.30pm when bubs had to get to bed.  I was starting to get a bit tippsy so had a big glass of water, put bubs to bed cooked the dinner, after that passed out on the couch.  Now thinking of going to bed   *PHEW!*

No 1.  is to try and do some more exercise and maybe loose my pregnancy tummy.  I say that every year I will do more exercise, never do though.  Personal discipline is one thing I sometimes lack.  Gets to winter and there is no way I'm going out in that cold weather.

No 2.  Spend less time on Minti, yeah right.  LOL.  I can never do that but one can try and hope.  I love minti and am addicted to it, but things need to get done around the house etc.. and I need to prepare for going back to work in March.   We will see about this one

Well that's it..  I don't usually make resoutions as I can never keep them.  I need to make small goals first.  and take baby steps....
