The past couple of mornings bubs has woken at 6am we let him sing/talk untill approx 6.30/7am.   Why is this so??  Dread to think what is going to happen when daylight savings finishes.  This means it will be 5am not 6am.   It's gotta stop.   Wake up is usually 7am.

Well it does and it doesn't, I was so excited about the new fridge coming today (incredible how some people can get over excited about a new kitchen appliance!) the man arrived squeezed it through the front door, there was my first panic, then down 2 stairs and into the kitchen.  So far so good but if you see our house, the fridge has to go though a sliding door way in to the laundry/pantry.  Here are some picks

I can't wait for my partner to come home and fix it.!  Don't know what we will do if he can't I have already stacked it.  LOL

We need a new fridge ours insn't big enough, anyway 2 w/ends ago  there was a sale on so we decided to go and just look, to suss out prices and see which one we might like.  We walked away saying that we really couldn't afford one and maybe we will buy one at the mid year sales or just buy one on ebay!

Last w/end we really didn't need to go to another fridge sale but went anyway.  We got chatting to a lady and we saw one we really liked and we got her down to a really good price which included delivery.   We went away and talked about it.  My partner really didn't want to buy it but I said I think we could afford it.  We need it.  He said how about a small freezer instead?  I said no.   

So on impulse we just bought the Fridge and it gets delivered on Thursday!  hooray!!  I hate our old fridge it is more that 12 year old!  On its last legs but we may sell it on Ebay.  We don't care what price we get for it. 

Roll on Thursday and the new fridge!!!

Yesterday got a phone call from a friend I haven't heard from in a while, we got talking and she said get on facebook,  so and so is there etc...   So on facebook I go.  After yesterday I was so tired I needed and wanted to go to bed early but alas facebook kept me going until 11pm.  I think I might be addicted.  LOL

It was very hot.  We dressed bubs in almost nothing last night and put the aircon on.  When we went to bed we put him in a summer sleeping bag as the aircon gets cold.  We left it on till 1am as it usually starts to cool a little then.  2am I get up as bubs is awake I undo the sleeping bag, go back to sleep he is up 1/2 hour later so I take his arms out of the sleeping bag.  He stayed awake fussing for another 1/2 hour, so I stayed awake.  5am he is screaming we rush in, it took a bit to console him, not sure what is wrong teething maybe so I put bonjella on.  We take him out of his suit.  It is still 25 degrees in his room.  He goes to sleep for 20 min so up I get a again, I put dummy in and leave.  Sleeps another 20min up again I get.  This goes on for a bit.  6am I change nappy.  6.30 I put t.shirt on and a blanket, he sleeps until 8am Yeah we get a sleep in!!  He did I didn't.  I was sort of dosing expecitng him to wake and besides that my partner got up to go to work, so I heard him up and about. 

Another hot one today, so I will try and sleep when bubs does.  Who knows what today will bring as bubs routine is 1hr late.  I'll go with the flow and try not to get too stressed and cry!

My whinge for the day.......

If you have seen my Q in Q & A then you will already know that bubs has reverted to not sleeping during the day.  It is now 3 x 20min naps.  This means that I have to stay up with him and some of the time play with him.  I don't mind doing that. 

He is a good kid but lately I am just so sick of him not having proper naps.  It used to be 1.5 hours.  Last night he woke at 4.30am and I went in put blankets on him then, could I go back to sleep?  nooooooo, bubs woke at 6.30am.

I am tired, It is a heat wave in melbourne this week and bubs wont sleep. (we have aircon in his room)  I AM SOOOO OVER IT ALL!!

Today we went out to do a few things, thats ok he had 20min in the morning then we went straight out..  Came back home for his 2nd nap and he wouldn't sleep so he went to bed later, I thought he would sleep for at least an hour.  Nooooo he had 20min and I couldn't settle him, to go back to sleep.  Once awake he stays awake.  So I will have to put him down for another nap.

I must admit when he didn't settle after going out I bought bubs to the lounge and just cried, bubs laughed.  I'm over it!!!

I can't believe how many milestone there have been this week.... bubs has just been on the go... 

1. Last w/end my bubs got his first tooth, not too bad didn't wake in the night cos of it. so quite lucky there!   Just grizzly during the day with a bad runny nose.

2.   On Wednesday bubs started crawling properly instead of his usual half commando and half normal crawling.  So now it is go go go on all fours.

3. Friday Arvo he started to sit up by himself from a crawling position to a sitting position.  So now when he is tired of crawling instead of just whinging he now sits up

4.  Today he managed to climb stairs.  We live in a town house 2 story and also today he climbed the 2 stairs that seperate the lounge from the kitchen area.  Luckly yesterday we bought some stair gates we now have them on the stairs to the upper level.

My partners mum reckons that he should be walking by 10mths......  I am so proud of my little man.  My heart is just over flowing.  I just love him to bits.

The other day I was a bad mummy and I forgot to take teddy to child care, so that ment bubs couldn't go to sleep and didn't go to sleep very well.  Oops!!!

Wednesday  I realised that it was my girlfriends birthday today.  I've known her for over 30years.  I haven't a clue what to get her for a pressy, she has just about everything.  The other thing is we had her and her partner over for afternoon tea on the W/end and I didn't mention the birthday at all.  She rang me last night and I forgot to say anything.  I will ring her today, and try and find a pressie over the w/end.   thats another oops I forgot....... 

Well on a better note, I think, I have started back at work.  I will be doing afternoon shift Monday and Tuesday and a day every 2nd w/end.  It is like I have never had time off.  Nothing has changed just a few new faces, but at our work we get that all the time.  Staff were coming up to me on the first day saying do you know where to find this and that LOL.  I would say yeah it's just over there LOL (and it was).  Nothing has changed!!  Every thing is sorted out from the other day and the boss admitted it was her fault He he he he he, so she has to now fix the roster up, that will keep her busy.  So a public Holiday on Monday and I have to go back to work.  I just keep thinking of the money I will be earning.

I'm fuming, I am really seething inside.  Today is my first day back at work and already they have stuffed it up ARGH!!!

In Januanry I went and saw my boss to finalise everything with me going back to work.  I thought we had it sorted.  My boss bought the roster up on the computer and it said that I was doing day shift I asked if it was a problem me doing afternoon shift meaning I would start at 1pm.   Not a problem she swaped me and wrote down my days for me. 

This morning I get up at 7am, the phone rang, I said to my partner quick answer it, something must be wrong.  Our phone never rings this early.  Anyway it was work, for me,  the incharge said "did you know your suposed to be on a day shift today? first day back after mat leave" (meaning I start at 7am) So I carmly told her what had happened, that I had sorted it out with the boss etc.....  she then said any chance of coming in? I mean really, what did she think I was going to do just dump my child and run straight away to work?   I then said no I couldn't do it I had to take bubs to childcare. 

I am so angry what a great start.  It dosen't really make me look good does it?  I could just scream!!   AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! 

I had planned on going in early anyway, so when I do I will be asking what was the mix up and why wasn't it sorted...  I will be making sure that tomorrow I am on a late shift and the next week as well.   Gees I am so mad!!!!  Soooooooo   Maaaaaddddddddd!!!!!! My blood is boiling and I'm sure my low BP is now a high BP!!!!!
