Hi all, we are all going on a little holiday!  It will be ANZAC day on Friday (public holiday)  and my partner is going to take tomorrow off (Thursday) work.  

We are not going to any where exciting just to my in-laws who live in the country up near the South Australian boarder.   

I am excited cause I just want to get out of the city for awhile and away from work.  This means that as of tomorrow I will not be on Minti for about 4 days. 

There is nothing to do there so rest is in order.  We get to see the new addition to the family.  My partners brother has just recently had a baby boy.

I am really looking forward to it as my in-laws are really nice people and we get along well.  Roll on Thursday!

The last 2 nights bubs has been waking in the night for a bottle, he hasn't done that for 2-3mths or more.  Also he is a bit grizzly.  

Is it Teething or a growth spurt??  Hmm I wonder.  I asked bubs this morning if he could tell me, or course he couldn't,  I then said that I would have liked him to talk a few words at 6mth or even when he was born.

I would like him to say:

Sick, Hungry, Teething, Tired, wet, etc..

Just a few to get us by...

OMG so hard to dress kids!  LOL  Today I had get my bubs (9.5mth) off to day care.   Of course I had to dress him.  I put him on the floor and he does nothing but crawl, wriggle, roll over or just play with things.  Somthing that should take 2min takes 10min. 

I get one leg in his trousers then try to get the other one in, meanwhile the first leg comes out ARGH...  Apart from pinning him down there is nothing I can do.  I just have to persevere with it!

Hey What a surprize when I just logged in.  I'm loveing all this new minti upgrades what a fab idea.  I just love it.  I logged in and had two commpliments, WOW!!!!

Thank you so much to clay and Matthew and the rest of admin for doing this wonderful upgrades.  I haven't looked at all of them yet but an just about to.

It is sad really how one website and there upgrades can make one person so excited.  I must be additcted and havenothing to do!!  LOL

Some of you know I have been sick (see other blog) Today I went to the Dr what a rip off! I couldn't see my normal Dr or her collegue so I went to another clinic where I take my son 'cause he is free there. 

Anyway my appt was at 2.15pm I get called in about 2.30pm I am in there for about 5min or so.  I get asked heaps of questions.  The Doctor barely looks at me didn't really listen when I said it didn't hurt there it hurt further up bla bla bla.   She gave me a script and I walk out.

I go to pay.  The lady said "that will be $98"  as sick as I was feeling I said "what? but I was only in there for 5 minutes.  The receptionist said "yeah but that is $98 charged as a longer appt".  I then said "I was only just called and in for 5min"  She said "Yes but, you were asked lots of question"  I said "fine" and paid.  I just wanted to cry I felt so ripped off and i will never go back there again!  I will only go to take my son and he is free on medicare.   

Sunday I started feeling ill, I had lunch then we all went for a walk to the park, along the way I said to my partner I didn't feel well.  When we got back I threw up!   I threw up several more times.  I was lying on the couch like a pathtic little thing.    This was continous thing until today.  I took yesterday off work and also today. 

Yesterday I went to the chiro thinking it was neck related as sometimes this happens to me.  The chiro seemed to think it was, my neck was very tight and needed lots of adjusting.  I reckon that  my sore neck comes from the way I pick my son up.

Anyway today not so bad I haven't thrown up yet so that is a good sign.  I have had a glass of cordial (the sugar might do me some good) and a peice of dry toast (I had to share that with bubs LOL ) the unfortunate thing is that it is now all comeing out my bum!!!!  Off to the Doctor I go today.

Bubs had not adjust well to daylight saving change.  Waking up early and not eating dinner, we have started a roll over feed at 10.30pm until he is adjusted and also leaving him in bed until about 6.30am. 

Finally we have worked out why bubs is waking at 6am.  The reason being we think is that he is hungry.

For a few days he wasn't really eating his second afternoon bottle so we decided to cut it out.  Bubs has never reallyt been a baby that crys alot.  So when singing/taking in the morning at 6am we just thought he was up for the day.

Yesterday  I gave bubs 2 afternoon bottles instead on one and we put him to bed later (we are trying to adjust for daylight savings) he woke twice druing the night for blankets and dummy and then again at 7.30am (really 6.30 when the clocks go back).  So we are very proud of our little boy, and proud of ourselves for working out that he must have been hungry. LOL    Lets hope that this continues.
