My name is Ashley and I have two sons named Kieran and Jake who are 2 and 1. I have a lovely fiance named Tyler and we are undecided on the date haha life is hectic enough already!! haha We live in Canada and would be happy to talk to parents from all over!! Kieran is a slow to warm up but once he does, oh my! he loves hockey, Buzz Lightyear and the whole Toy Story gang, he loves being around other children! Then there is Jaker Baker. He is one heck of a handful! He likes to explore and get into everything! He is cute as a button and will share his smile with anyone! We have the most fun with our next door neighbor Deanna and her baby boy, Jayden and all the other little people that come around!! Truth be told, I think Kieran has a crush on Haillie.. Deanna's 2 year old niece! <--------------- Kieran forcing a smile :) |

Wow I can't believe how long it has been! 8 months i think! crazy! A lot has happened, we moved back to Medicine Hat, it has been tough to come home, relations with Tylers family is hard and coming back to my hometown and the triple murder mess is just not right. Anyways, we moved back to the Hat, Kieran is officially potty trained and no night time accidents at all, our wedding is on June 23 less than two months yikes!, we bought a house and life is basically crazy! The boys start preschool July 1st well July 3rd technically. What else?? No idea just planning the wedding, organizing a move and raising my two toddlers and preparing them for school! We live a crazy life! |

Well, Kieran peed on thepotty again! standing up this time!! We have to work on his aim but I am so happy and impressed with him! I've been going back to work since Wednesday so I'm making it my top priority to give them as much attention as possible! I miss them terribly but if you wanna make it in Calgary, you need to have a double income! Deanna is watching them and they absolutely love her! |

Well his fever has not gotten better :( and he is even more cranky, starting to lose his appetite and has within the last few hours developed a rash around his ears and on his stomach... I've kinda researched it on the internet and it sounds like it could be measles but he has had his MMR shot so I am at a loss for words.. Hopefully the doctor will be able to better diagnose him tomorrow... |

What a long nice vacation! Me and the family took a vacay down to Manitoba where Tyler's family lives. It was a nice change. However, now that we are back, Jake seems to be a little under the weather. He is not acting too much out of the ordinary, but he has been wanting to sleep alot, been a little more crankier and has had a temp of 102 degrees. It is a little concerning but he is not being lethargic and is still wanting to play and eat. Anyone know what could be causing his fever and bouts of drowsiness?
I love that Kieran is talking now. He says some of the funniest things and he knows it haha. Whenever he is going on about something I start to laugh and he goes Mommy, Kieran funny! Still no luck with the potty training though :( |
