Alisha is so gorgeous.  I bet she has a cheeky little attitude, she looks cheeky.

I always try to provide feedback whether negative or positive because I think that if they don't know if they're doing a good or bad job how with they improve (if they're bad).  It always makes you feel good when you give great feedback and even better when they appreciate the time you've taken.

What a lovely thing to do Thuy. It's funny you cause we're all ready to have a go at someone when we're not happy, but don't think to tell someone when we're happy.

I did something similar for our local council last year when they put in a zebra crossing near our house, as we had to cross a main road to take Zak to school everyday and we would have to wait literally 5-7 minutes before it was clear to cross safely. The crossing made our life so much easier and safer. After they'd finished, I wrote the council a thank you letter and they were so appreciative that they put it in the council newsletter, the local paper and sent me a copy as well. It made me feel like I'd actually made a small difference you know!

I totally agree about being nice! Those little things can make such a difference when someone does that for you, and equally it feels so nice when you've made a positive impact on someone. 

Good on you for actually calling even when you thought it was "lame" (I don't think it was lame).

Gorgeous pics of your little girl,, and yes its nice to show some gratitude to some call centre people as some of them do a great job.. Them biscuits are  so yummy ..

it is hard working in any sort of public place. Chris was always coping crap from when he worked at the fish shop. ppl are so rude some times and dont get that ppl need to do their job. i think they should get paid more cause of all the BS they get. great that ya called them to tall em how much Alisha loves their rice cakes.

Excellent blog. Love the pics. Im glad she is loveing the rice cakes dont for get to get cruskits she loved them here too :). They arent in the baby section but i definatly think they should put some in there. They desolve soo good and they dont choke on them. Btw what toy is that called alisha has and whos it buy. Idea for Mia's birthday im thinking :) I have no idea wt to get her.

Thanks for the pics. As cute as always! Great that you made that ladies day. I actually did it the other day. I went to get petrol after work and as we were lining up to pay I pulled out my fuel voucher. The lady in front said, Oh no I left mine on the bench at home. So I pulled out another one and said, Oh do you want one. She was like Bless you. It was like no worries because every second day I need to run into Coles on my way home and get food so I have heaps but she was so happy about it. She thanked me a lot. That sounds like lame cause you are lucky if you save $2 from a whole tank of fuel. LOL No it is good to make people smile and feel good. You are right! yeah its great when you do something nice and the other person is happy as well.

i was at the supermarket near my work and another worker at the compex rushed in to purchase something but only grabbed a little money.

she was 20cents short the lady told the cashier she would bring it later but i offered her the 20cents she was ever so grateful i was pleased to do it and that saved her from coming back later.

its a great feeling whether it be big or small i always feel good doing it

she is so cute! I love reading your blogs, your always so upbeat and larger thatn life, and its a great attitude,really does put a smile on my miserable dial! I know what you men about small gestures. tho my first gesture, i was dirt poor, had no money and no food in the house, i had just spent my last 20 bucks on baby food for my son, and i was walking home and a lady asked if i had anymoney, her children were going to starve that night cause they had nothig. so i gave about a dollar fifty, (my change) and then walked home, and took out rice risotto, it was going to be my dinner spread over the next few nights, walked back and gave it to her. The look of disgust on her face. she took it, but i decided to watch for a while, aand she went and boought ciggys once she had taken enough money. So i starved the rest of the week, but i was willing to do it on good will. It makes me skepital now of who i give gestures to of course. To many nasty people out there...
