Just giving you all an update!

Cadence is now in Kindergarten, she's doing great and loving it! She wishes she could go every day (here you go 2, sometimes 3 days a week but full days on the ones she goes) but next year when she's in Grade 1 she will have a blast... I hope! 

Hubby and I are doing good. Still living in our small town and enjoying it. 
I'm not working and enjoying being able to stay at home and look after the house, animals and miss C! 

For Christmas this year, we were able to go to NS to see our families that I haven't seen in over 8 years and hubby hasn't seen in over 15 years! It was much needed. We had a great time, even driving down and going through the States was the best part. Got to stop in some places, tried food that we've wanted to try for a long time and went to the Mall of America (which was real nice!) next year, I think we may go somewhere warm and do something for ourselves! 

 It sure has been a while, since I was on last! 

Christmas has come and gone and so has New Year's!
HAPPY NEW YEARS TO EVERYONE OUT THERE!!!! Hope you all had a great Christmas as well!

My dad came out to visit this Christmas, it was nice. The last time I saw him for more than a few days was 2 years ago! Cadence got spoiled (as per usual) and she was very excited with all her gifts. 

I registered her for Kindergarten last week, time is flying by. Soon it will be September and she'll be starting school. 

We got a new pup! He's 13 weeks old. He's an **Olde English Bulldogge**!! He's adorable, he was a xmas gift to hubby! 

Nothing much is really new, other than I have to wear glasses now! Which you can see is my new picture.

Monday was Cakers picture day and we just got the pictures back yesterday! I thought I would have to wait at least a week but I didn't have to. We just have to choose which one and bring it back in on Monday with our order and go from there :) Thankfully it's not too pricy and pretty reasonable!

She's feeling much better. She isn't sick anymore, or at least she seems better to me. Not coughing, no sneezing and only a little big of sniffles. So its not bad at all!

She's quite enjoying school, she was a little upset yesterday when her BFF wasn't there (because she was sick also) ..
I have a question, will playschool (preschool) help them print their name and other letters? If not, does kindergarten help? I only ask because Cadence will not learn for me.. I give her a book where she can trace letters and when it gets to the point there she has to do it without tracing she doesn't know what to do. I have little patience.. So what else can I do? HELP there please!

I must get going for now, doing some laundry and watching a season of Friends.

Ok, ever since Cadence has been 4, even 3 actually she  will not listen.
She bugs the animals like crazy, she acts up when I go on the phone to make phone calls and has bad attitude.

I take her favorite things away from her but still she won't listen. I count to 3 and nothing. The doctors say its some kind of temper tantrum. But really, this bad? I smack her ass sometimes and it still won't do anything at all.

I am at the end of my rope. I don't know how to get her to listen to me.

If I send her to her room, she will yell at me and say I'm sorry, I want to come out of my room. But I don't let her. Sometimes she will bang on the wall, door or the bed. Also, she will draw on her bed, dresser and desk. I take away all the things she can use to draw. I just don't know what to do anymore. She won't listen to her father at ALL.. It's like talking to a brick wall. She says she will be good and listen but not even 5-15 mins later she's back doing the same thing she got in trouble for. AHHHHHHHHHH.. I am ready to pull out my hair.

Am I the only one out there, that can't get their child to listen?

HELP! Please
