I am spread all over the parenting spectrum! My children are 23, 20, 18 and--SURPRISE!--almost 6!

I call myself a Mommy-come-lately--part of the trend of women in their mid-30s to mid-40s having babies--some by choice, some by surprise. I am experiencing an almost empty nest, with my two oldest out of the house and on their own--and my 18 year old talking about her turn coming soon.

I find myself trying to let my older kids grow up while telling my 6 year old not to try and grow up too fast.
