At family dinner, the debate of my step-sister's baby's name came about. My step-sister (C) and her husband (K) have several names that they are considering, including Steven and Aaron.
My brother (M) and step-brother (A) vetoed Steven as they don't like the name. No idea why though. Actually, they vetoed all the names including C's favourite name, which was Aaron. Personally, I thought it went well with the last name. But M and A thought that if they were going to choose Aaron, they choose Alan as it was a more "superior" name. Plus A kept saying that C couldn't pronounce Aaron properly as it sounded more like Erin. *scratches head*
So M and A decided to come up with lots of interesting names that they liked, which C&K really disliked, such as Carl and Marcel.
It was really amusing!
C&K then looked at each other after M&A finished debating about the baby names and that's when I think they realised, "We should never have brought this up." |
