I just went to the Members list and I was pleasantly surprised to see that CookClan is the first Minti Member to reach our 2nd highest Award Shield, Young Parent. Well done!

As the Minti Community Administrator, I will be calculating how many messages I get about what annoys people most or what they are having trouble with on Minti, in order to keep track of and prioritise what may be our Minti Members' top annoyances/gripes.I would appreciate it if you could give me your feedback, to help improve Minti.

Last week, the top annoyances were:

1. Images - the top annoyances in regards to that were that the pictures do not appear properly in regards to GIF's (moving/glittery pictures), pictures have been duplicated, or that there is the picture that says you are unable to view the image - even though others can clearly see that particular image.

2. Friends - The main gripe about this is that they were unable to remove their friends as the "Change Position" and "Remove" functions are not working.

3. Reported items - There are duplicated reported items and the voting for the Reported Items sometimes breaks.

Have I missed any things that annoy you?

I just noticed an article written by jenlemen about An Interview with Kris Holloway: For Parents Who Write, Dream, and Want to Change the World. It was a great interview, with helpful tips at the end for any aspiring writers out there.

Kris Holloway wrote a book called Monique and the Mango Rains which is about Kris (who was in the Peace Corps) going to Mali and meeting someone called Monique who was the only midwife in a particular Mali village/town.

Jen and family will donate $1 for every person who comments on the article to Monique's midwifery clinic.
