come on your only young . before you know it your baby will be grown. i didnt expect to do anything but we did go overseas . once when the boys were  6 and 4 and two years ago just hubby and i. the boys were 25 and 23 at the time. old enough to stay home and look after themselves. They have also been overseas.  If you do have a goal though seriously to go overseas set yourself a target where you make a little sacrifice and strictly put that money aside. you would be surprised how much you can accumilate over time I personally have to stop myself from buying clothes. I have so many and i still carry on that i have nothing to wear!!! I am trying desperately to ask myself  do i really need it? research says we only need a small percentage of clothes that we actually have!!!  cheers annie 

I should try that saving business!! I used to have money in the bank.. but i now seem to spend more money on Austin than on myself. I still dont have a pair of jeans that fit my post pregnancy body! LOL. But that is a good idea. I did travel when i was 19 and loved it, but just for the moment my priorities are different. Maybe in 10 years after bubs 2 and 3??????

yeah that sounds great !!! but remember i know it seems hard but everytime you put money away that wouldnt have been there eg birthday money given for you or a little win on lotto or little sacrifices eg unnecassary spending. Be inventive these are examples dont buy bottled water that costs heaps use your filtered water have it nice and cold before you go somewhere  so its still drinkable. If you are out and about dont spend money on coffee take it in turns and have coffee at afriends place and alternate with yours. Make it interesting by frothing it into a cappaccino. Use a bamix or just a cheap shaker workls effectively. Make sure you put aside that money that you would have spent on coffee. If you smoke and you cant quit at least have the amount  but make sure you put the savings aside. Dont be tempted to use it on other things because that money would have been spent if you hadnt made the sacrifices.  You will find that it will work out to be a very special and memorable experience. There are many ways but each person has different life experiences so only you will know where the sacrifices can be made. Its not necessary to deprave yourself but just remember we are such a throw away society these days that its a shame what we actually do.  cheers  have a merry christmas and a happy new year!!
