can you pick me up from the airport? i arrive at 7.45.

isnt this great i dont know if it is am or pm i dont have flight number. i didnt  see message on mobile phone til late last night, my friend and i who have gone to my beach house think it best we go to melbourne 6am just in case. i rang my son's mobile whom i was to pick up and i get the a/m does this mean he is already on a flight from sydney? or is he still sleeping?

get to our melbournian house and i have no choice but to wake youmger son see if he got a call (i hated doing this because i knew he got in late ) he suggest i wait . if it is am i will get a call

i assume now it is pm because i would have rceived a call.

funny though what a difference it makes when we take too much for granted  am or pm we are all guity of leaving it off

oh well at least i got to see the fireworks last night at mornigton peninsula for australia day celebrations.

it was also great to see when i drove along nepean highway at rye that they had a mobile lit up flashing sign saying that there was an alcohol ban in effect. the organisers really make a big effort making it a family day.

they had the usual live band entertainment in the park and it was great to see so many families around. for those that arent familiar with the area they also have the rye carnival that is a yearly event from december til just after australia day

my boys who are grown have fond memories of the times they spent at the carnival  the beach and the park playing soccer. they used to have other children whom they didnt know come and join them in the game of friendly soccer

they still go to rye with their friends

anyway at least my life isnt boring or predictable !!
