congratulations to manchester united beating chelsea in penalty shootout

im neutral i tend to lean to man united

my youngest son is a man united fan he has their top scarf and when he went to england last year he toured the man united ground

hubby is a a chelsea fan

my oldest son is a liverpool fan

so where does that leave me? i have a little soft spot for man united but i really am neutral to it

chelsea was down to 10 men as one of their players copped a red card and was sent off.

well now i just have to wait for the euro cup as my household are soccer crazy and we have setanta sports channel

cheers annie

Well my two boys here were absolutely ecstatic last night !!!!!!

They have always supported Man Utd probably because their older brother does, but it was really nerve wracking when it came to the penalties !!!!

xxx

My husband is a Man U fan so he will be very pleased that they one.  Life must get pretty tense at your house with all the different supporters.

Re: congatulations man united

yeah lol my youngest one (he is 25) got up at 4am to go a friends place and from there they went to one of the venues to watch it live on big screen (mind you here in australia it was live on sbs) and we do have lrage screen plazma.

but the atmosphere is better when they are surrounded with lots of supporters although if they had lost it would be a different story.

when greece won the 2004 european cup we had lots of sleepless nights. i would hear it in the comfort of my home with hubby on the radio but the boys would go out with friends to venues

but when the final was on i wasnt going to miss the action, i went too and when greece score the one and only winning goal against portugal, it was electric

i still can remember the buzz i got that morning( again early hours of the morning)

the streets of melbourne (and i believe sydney) came alive as the sun was rising and the spectators were celebrating

my younger son was even on the news as part of the winning celebrations.

cheers annie
