Re: congatulations man united
yeah lol my youngest one (he is 25) got up at 4am to go a friends place and from there they went to one of the venues to watch it live on big screen (mind you here in australia it was live on sbs) and we do have lrage screen plazma. but the atmosphere is better when they are surrounded with lots of supporters although if they had lost it would be a different story.
when greece won the 2004 european cup we had lots of sleepless nights. i would hear it in the comfort of my home with hubby on the radio but the boys would go out with friends to venues
but when the final was on i wasnt going to miss the action, i went too and when greece score the one and only winning goal against portugal, it was electric
i still can remember the buzz i got that morning( again early hours of the morning)
the streets of melbourne (and i believe sydney) came alive as the sun was rising and the spectators were celebrating
my younger son was even on the news as part of the winning celebrations.
cheers annie
