i know. we paid to get a video of our youngest sons christening in 1984 video cameras were just starting to come in and they were expensive then and a luxury item.
not many people owned them so we piad a photographer to video tape it and then we bought a video player. we had just bought the video player they had given us a free cassette with purchase.
at that stage we only had 2 tapes and they were also expensive to buy. so i hadnt built up a collection yet
i taped on one tape which i thought was the blank but it wasnt it was the christening!!!
unfortunately the photogropher hadnt kept a copy he gave us the origional.
i cried for hours when i found out what i had done.
so on my sons second birthday my sister (who was one of the first to buy a video camera in our h/h ) taped his birthday to try to compensate for the christening.
i have never forgiven myself for not double checking the tape
